These are my ramblings where I basically talk to myself about capitalism, modernity, and anything related to them (at times in English, at times in Urdu/Hindi/Hindustani).
These are extempore, unchoreographed raw videos (and intentionally so) which are partially inspired by the idea of thinking in public (thinking out loud).These are neither educational nor propogational videos.

1) I don't think Kant claims that we don't have any access to 'noumenon'. His claim is only related to and limited to specific phase of his analysis. 2)If you are saying that Ghazali reduced 'noumenon' to revelation and mysticism, I don't concur. Revelation and mysticism in this context are sources of knowledge, on the other hand, 'noumenon' is a level of reality so your question doesn't make much sense in this context. 3) Kant's 'noumenon' is a conceptual construct in the context of Kant's theoretical philosophy. The concept of reality or haqiqat in prophetic teaching is much broader and essentially something qualitatively different from Kant's conceptual construct. As the Glorious Qur'an says: "‘You paid no attention to this [Day]; but today We have removed your veil and your sight is sharp.’ (Qaaf: 22)

Prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him), made a supplication that(I am paraphrasing): Teach me the reality of things as they are. Would you say that Kant never went to where Al-Ghazali went to explore this world of “Noumena”, which Kant says we have no access to. Al-Ghazali reduced it to revelation and mysticism. So, would you say that to access this “Noumena”, we have to go to where Al-Ghazali went?

@@CapitalCapitalismModernityWhat I’m ultimately saying is: David Hume, brought up “problem of induction” followed by problem of Neccessary causality. Kant said, we cannot establish Neccessary causality because we do not know “things in themselves”. We are limited by the fact that input from sensory experience goes thru the mind/cognitive faculties then we get experience, but until we know “things in themselves”(Noumena), we can never establish Neccessary causality. So, how would Al-Ghazali resolve this? Is thru going deep into the ocean of submission to Allah(The most Exalted). Which is the essence of mysticism, mysticism which is mediated by Revelation(Quran/Hadith)?
