    I really like your videos. Thank you, they're extremely helpful. I just wanted to point out that the IPA symbol that you are showing is for a different sound. It's for the 'a' sound, as in 'cat' /kæt/. You need:/əʊ/ as in explode /ɪkˈspləʊd/.

    I have analyzed your UA-cam channel. You are uploading many videos. But your channel videos are not getting more views.. The main reason is that your channel videos SEO score is very low & lacks video rank tags. Increasing the SEO score & placing the video rank tags will grow your channel properly. Can you do that?

      Thanks for your concern. Our channel content is designed primarily to help our English Learning students and friends improve their understanding and use of American English. We are happy if it also helps others who find us online.

      In making this channel, I've tried listening to everyday conversations as if I were an English language learner who might not understand certain idioms. It has really helped me slow down and think about the meanings of expressions we instinctively use.

    I can hear the difference clearly when its not a suffix like pin and ping, win and wing. But when its a suffix like talking or running they sound identical to my Spanish ears 😂

    • @betterenglishintacoma2147
      @betterenglishintacoma2147 Рік тому

      I had a student in China who wanted to learn the difference between two similar pronunciations - pool and pull. She had me close my eyes and listen to her say each word MANY MANY times until I could tell which word she was saying. It really helped her train her ear to hear the difference as well as training her mouth to feel the difference. If you have a native English speaker to practice with, you may ask to do a similar exercise with the "ing" ending. You are also free to join one of our in-person or online English conversation classes for free: betterenglishonsixth.org/better-english-in-tacoma

      Keep working at it! The goal in all of our free English programs is to help our students become clearer in their communication and better at understanding native speakers. The best way to do that is to hang out with people who speak English.
