I think it is unquestionable that "20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania" tried to kill Presidential candidate Trump. I think it is unquestionable that T. M. Crooks was a lone wolf. I think it is very likely T. M. Crooks would have tried killing Biden had that been an event for Biden and that T. M. Crooks motive was to gain public fame by killing one famous person or by killing many people and probably be killed in the process of doing this. I think Trump may have been directly injured by a bullet or hit by shrapnel from a bullet. Either way it does not change the fact that T. M. Crooks was trying to kill Trump. The only difference it makes is how good or bad of a shot T. M. Crooks was and maybe whether or not T. M. Crooks aim was spoiled before he fired because of the response by Secret Service and/or police to his attempt to kill Trump. I think any halfway decent shooter firing the weapon used at that range would have killed Trump except for events causing their aim to fail. This could have been pressure from the police who looked onto the top of the roof and then dodged being shot by T. M. Crooks, thus causing T. M. Crooks to aim and fire too fast and thus having bad aim. What I'd like to have analyzed is the sounds of the shots fired and identify which were from T. M. Crooks and which were from Secret Service snipers. Could Secret Service sniper fire have ruined the aim of T. M. Crooks? I think it is unquestionable that the direct planner or planners of the Secret Service protection for Trump at that event failed epically and should be fired with cause. The rest of the Secret Service detail which responded seemed to respond fast and professionally, but the planning was extraordinarily bad.
