Dexter's disgust with Louis's game shows how much he really isn't a serial killer and brings out even further his humane side, someone should do a what if video of dexter being trained to be an assassin modeled after both real life and fictional figures philosophical teachings of Miyamoto Musashi and bowen's old code from the movie DRAGONHEART with a little bit of THE SHADOW tossed in, I'm certain if he was put into the mindset of a black ops agent rather than a serial killer and was told from the start about his mother and brother, about what happened to them and why harry couldn't keep him along with dr. Vogal there to help him from the beginning with his repressed memories and emotions he would have viewed those psychopaths quite differently and his story would have went an entirely different route. When he showed batistas character I laughed and was all in for it but this was awkward but I do believe that playing as the killer would maybe be educational? Still fucked up though

I always found the mini Louis storyline to be funny. I don't think he was that menacing though, probably a good idea that they abandoned him being a killer / bigger antagonist in the show.

I think this actually shows a human side of Dexter. Even he thinks what he is doing is twisted, but he can't stop himself. He thinks it's appalling that "normal" people would want to experience what he lives with.

When Dexter narrates "I am the Bay Harbor Butcherer" I thought he meant that Louis designed him to look like Dexter. But nope its just the show pointing out the obvious for those who weren't paying attention. Even in the good seasons I think this show explains too much exposition, especially when Ghost Harry begins to appear.

as a game designer (albiet student) you wouldnt spend 5 years then show someone your game, youd create a short demo. also a game like that would take a year to make. not 5

One of the best films ever, by plot, acting by giant actors, superlative direction and technique. one of Al Pacino's best film for acting and intensity, I really don't understand why Pacino didn't get the Oscar for this (and many others...)

I feel like it's only offensive to Dexter because he's getting defensive since he's overcompensating with his self-hatred ya know what I mean? Like he hates what he is and he can't understand why someone would want to step into his shoes for a game. Like there's video games where you can be a serial killer and hunt your friends down online, and the people that do it realize it's a game and they're having fun. He just took it seriously, which to a normal person would seem really odd, and actually exposes some of Dexter's internal conflict.

Okay the game itself I would have no problem with. The problem I would have is if you get to choose real serial killers. That’s offensive since they killed real people and their family’s probably wouldn’t appreciate that.
