Just so I say this somewhere. I’m falling for my best friend I met freshman year of college. I’m a junior now and she and her boyfriend are breaking up soon while they study abroad. I can’t tell if I attach myself to unlikely love interests because of Jim and Pam’s influence on my life, or that I love Jim and Pam so much because I feel like I am in Jim’s position. I’ve never been more sure of my feelings for someone. I want to keep her friendship so badly, and the only thing I want more than her friendship is to be together someday. Even though I dated someone and felt in love with her for a time, after we split up I spent a few months taking care of myself and recovering but when the dust settled it’s still this best friend I keep thinking about. Not sure what to do, but I think I want to tell her I’ve felt so much for her all this time. I wanna be close to her every day, and it’s the first time I’ve developed this deep feelings for someone purely based on knowing them. I never want to stop knowing her more and more over the years. I hope this can be romantically, but if ultimately I’m rejected and am friends with her, I’ll put in the effort for one hell of a friendship TL;DR about to go back to college and in my feels severely about wanting to be with this amazing person

She’s been really working through her anxiety around the breakup, and she’s currently in a whole other country right now. We still text a ton and I plan on calling her soon to properly catch up. I feel like recently she’s been putting in a lot of effort into our conversations recently and I’ve been loving it. She does know where I stand on us (we just talked about feelings, I wasn’t making a move so soon), so I hope when she gets back to the states that we could go out sometime. She’s coming back months from now, so for now I’m just putting in effort to talk to her while we’re so far apart. Our friendship keeps getting better honestly. Thanks for asking by the way! I have hopes but trying to keep them in check!
Maybe it was made as a comedic shot but Andy's crying represents the whole Jim and Pam's relationship. Andy sees both as his friends and especially "Tuna". He was the happiest when they announced their romantic relationship and was expecting for that moment since he saw how their both have that chemistry and potential love. Andy represents us, who waited that long to see this. Even before Andy.
