At first I thought everyone’s shields were lasting too long but the initial thrust was just drone fighters while the starships hung back. Then the Klingons came in right after the enemy charged into effective range. So it kind of makes sense that they only really began to falter around the halfway mark

My biggest question throughout this entire series was: Where are the phasers? Like its what seperates Star trek from star wars weaponry. These guys shooting lasers at one another but that era already had phaser tech(as seen in strange new worlds and st: ent) so we turning this into a Star wars show with star trek sprinkled on? :/

if the shields are still valid why the fuck do ships take damage. energy shields dont trasnfer energy into the ship. that shit makes no sense. inertial dampeners would prevent any of the crew from being tossed around the bridge or decks. shit makes no sense. the creators dont even know how their make believe tech even works

the intro saying we went to the stars to figure out who we are line is lame as fuck and makes no sense. humanity has no reason to need to go to the stars. that doesnt figure out who anyone is
