Starting to believe Disney is taking some plays from Popeye's playbook. Wonder if they made the call on Diddy. 🤣 I did like Carlos in Crocodile Dundee II where played one of the hired goons. And Speed was the first movie where I first saw him as just a regular working guy.
"Where are you going? You forgot the briefcase!" - - I love it. The sad part about this movie is that if people wouldn't have kept fucking with him it might not have turned out the way it had.

I like Denzel Washington and the Equilizer 1 was brilliant. 2 was quite a good film but the 3rd one's terrible for me. This looked like a 3 hour movie that's been hacked to pieces. It felt disjointed and completely rushed. They tried to introduce too many characters without having enough time available to establish the characters and build interest in them. I honestly feel this was originally meant to be far longer movie and it shows. I was totally disappointed in it.
@@moviesandshows213 You can tell with the performance that this was a farewell movie. I don't think Denzel was satisfied with the result of this one either. I think I did read that the studio was pushing for the running time to be cut and there was talk about pulling back on the budget. I don't think this was the actors fault or the directors. I think the studio have interfered in it's production and ruined it. Even the early green screen shots and some of the early supporting actors looked very low budget at the start of the movie. I was annoyed because this was the only movie I was genuinely looking forward to. When I eventually got to see it I just felt let down.
This movie is great at showing what hate looks like, what it can do, and where it comes from. Unfortunately I agree with you on who you have these types of discussions with because there are a lot of people who watch this movie and get the wrong idea about it.

black and white is the best part :D
The interaction between Edward Norton's character (Derek) and the black inmate who essentially saves his life in prison always gets me.
Great movie, the ending, from what I remember, sucked, though.
