Hi what is the brand of fusible web and where do you buy it? Thank you!
You make amazing paper flowers, and I have bought your paper flowers book to learn from you. It's a book with really great flower projects. Unfortunately the measurements seem to be a bit off. In the ball dahlia for instance, in part 1 of the explanation, you state that the fringes are cut into 3 pieces from a piece 3,25 inches tall. Each of the 3 pieces are 5/8, 1 1/16 and 1/4 inches tall. That does not add up to 3,25. So what should the real mesaurements be? Apart from that, it's a great book. Btw. The reason I comment on this video, is beacuse I have no other places to reach you.
Hello! There was a misprint in the measurement: Strip C should be 3/4" not 1/4" as you pointed out. That should be the height of whatever paper is remaining. I hope that helps. I was told to never use steam when pressing crepe paper
It has worked for me, but feel free to experiment with and without steam :)

Thanks again Anne! I look forward to seeing your branches. The leaves are not doublette - they're 100 g Chinese crepe paper, laminated together with glue. I shape them before they dry, and when they dry, they keep their shape.
Wow, hugely helpful! I've been working at making twigs & branches, using way too many wires etc. & not getting a very natural result. Thanks! Yours are wonderfully natural!
Thank you telling me Anne!! I thought about cutting up different wires but then decided I would have to think waaaay too much ahead. I find this way I only need to plan a little, and then make it up as I go. And the best part is I can change it up without too much fuss. I'm so happy you found this demo helpful!
Have you tried creating the doublette first, and then coloring it with paints or alcohol inks? I wonder how the fusible webbing reacts to getting wet/colored.
Yesenia Ramirez - I haven’t tried colouring after fusing. There are times when I’ve used too much glue and the liquid splits the fused paper apart, so I suspect there’s a limitation to how much dying you can do after fusing (altho alcohol ink maybe more forgiving). Also, the fusible web is quite expensive so I’ve always used it only when I’m satisfied with the colour of the paper. When I die I only die because the colour doesn’t come in the crepe paper; if I fuse white on white and hen die then I’d just used a white doublette. But If you try dying afterwards, let me know how it turns out!
