I'm so sorry about Buster. ❤
Thank you ♥️♥️♥️
Lovely WIPs, thank you for sharing your progress.
Thank you!! ♥️
It was so fun to watch this video while I stitched this afternoon. I especially love your HAED - please show a close-up because it seems so detailed!
Thank you!! I will! :)
Such beautiful projects you choose! Big, small, knitting, stitching … each one made me in awe of the beauty 😍 Thanks for sharing your talents here for us all to enjoy xxx
Oh thank you so much!! ♥️♥️ glad you enjoyed :)
Good for you for jumping into embroidery! I started my needlework life with embroidery... at age 7! I feel too many people are imtimidated, especially when we refer to embroidery stitches as specialty stitches or fancy stitches. It's just another way of employing your needle and thread, right? You could have a lot of fun with the lazy daisy stitch... look at some photos of gerbera daisies for inspiration. You can layer them or bunch them for a very full flower, too. Lazy daisy can also be used for leaves on stems or vines. And french knots make great flower centers LOL. Your previous video talked about knotting thread on the back... with french knots particularly your working thread gets twisted very quickly, thus the knots. You almost have to let it dangle between every stitch. Or give the needle a twist each stitch. best wishes. xoxo
Thank you for the tips! I was JUST thinking that I need to try my hand at it again soon! I recently got some fabric specifically for more embroidery so lazy daisies might be the way for me to go, I will definitely be looking into that. ♥️♥️
great video. we have similar tastes... not many of us are doing a Modern Folk annual and a Long Dog at the same time LOL. I'm doing Fruits of Plenty in silver and gold, and Ragnorak in dark antique blue. plus a few other odds and ends. I'm going to enjoying catching up with your latest videos. xoxo
Thank you! Oooh! Silver and gold sounds so pretty! I can’t resist the huge samplers! 😂
Gosh you have some beautiful WIPS! Love your new apple delicious start, the colors are so rich and I would have never guessed it was tent with the beautiful coverage, I may have to give that a try.
Thank you! Yes, I love how the tent stitch turns out on 28 count! ♥️
Your projects are all so stunning and you've made such great progress!! Hope all is well after your surgery and glad you got to take time off to recover (and stitch lol)!
They’re all so beautiful! It’s hard to resist running out and getting all the patterns you’re stitching! lol I have so many already 😆

Hi. I'm new to your channel. I noticed that you didn't put any initials in the spaces for you Fruits of Plenty.
Oh wow I totally missed that part of the pattern!! Thanks so much for pointing it out, I will have to get those added!
Amazing video! I love your colour combo for the Modern Folk SAL😍
Thank you!! 😊

Yay! Thank you so much for stopping by, I’m glad you enjoyed!! ☺️
Well done…my first visit. You embrace all sizes and types of patterns nicely. I also have the Year in the Garden patterns to stitch along with you. 🦉🪡🧵🌞
Oh yay!! They are such beautiful patterns, have you stitched any yet? 🙂
May I ask what colours are you using for Reaching Skyward? beautiful work!!!
Yes, sorry I forgot mention!! I am using DMC 520 & 642
Hi Jenny. You have a nice variety of stitchy designs. The MFE SALs are beautiful. I’ve been thinking about starting one but so hard to choose which one. The squishy bird design is so colorful. The hot air balloon design is charted by who? HAED? Happy stitching.
There are so many great MFE designs, it is hard to choose!! The Hot Air Balloon design is charted by HAED! ♥️♥️
Wonderful projects you are doing. I am enjoying your flosstubes. Happy stitching to you.
Thanks so much! Happy stitching to you too. ☺️
Well done! Love your colour choices for the long dog and the modern folk embroidery pieces. You have a great eye!
Thanks so much!! ☺️☺️ Picking the colors is always the hardest part for me!
Hello! Happy to have found you 🙂 Love the tiny stitches - Strawberry Dreams is adorable! Death by Cross Stitch is stunning! Happy Stitching!
Hi I love sock patterns. Where did you say on etsy the pattern is for sale. Love that beautiful red sampler. Maybe the gold bees 🐝 will work xx
Hi!! Did you mean the pattern for the socks? For those I am somewhat using the crazy sock lady DK weight stock pattern but doing a different heel and cuff. For the Squished Bird pattern that is by TinselCrossStitch on Etsy! ☺️
Hello 1sttime here trying to get back into cross stitching retired dealing with life stuff
Hi! Thanks for stopping by! :) I hope the cross stitching provides you some relief from any difficult life stuff. ♥️
Beautiful stitching!! Love your projects
Thanks so much! 🙂
I just found you. So happy.
Yay!! ♥️♥️♥️
Hi Jenny! Congratulations on starting a flosstube! You are working on some lovely projects. Thank you for sharing! I loved seeing your progress on the “Squishy Bird”! I had never seen anyone working on it before. I had purchased it last year and am looking forward to stitching it also. The colors are sooo pretty. Take care!
I had never seen anyone work on it before this stitch along either! It is such a fun project with all the bright colors! Thanks for commenting, hope you have a great day! ♥️
So happy I found you! I want to or am stitching almost everything you showed. You get my vibe! A Year in the Woods is on my list too!
Oh yay!!! How fun! I’m glad you found me too! :)
All your projects are lovely, but the bird - the colors, the coverage - is gorgeous!
Thank you!! I am loving how that one is turning out. That project is my first time doing tent stitch and I will definitely do it on future projects! I have heard tent stitch can warp the project sometimes so I was worried about that but I haven’t had any issues so far.
You made quick work on the Mill Hill piece! Love the Modern Folk Embroidery projects, especially with the colors you have chosen to use.
Thank you!! Choosing the colors is always the hardest part for me, I’m already contemplating next years!
I may by wrong but it looks like there is some gray in "Death by cross stitch". Maybe it's just the color I'm seeing on my computer. It looks great!
Great video!! I’m doing the Year in the Woods on one piece (very big). Will you do separate or one? 🙂
Thank you! Oh that is so cool, that will be awesome! I am planning to do them all separately.
I’ll be popping in and out of Midsummer Stitch - hope to see you there!
Yay!! Hope to see you too! :)
Another amazing Flosstube, Jenny!! Your big projects are coming along beautifully and it’s so cool to see some of your smaller completed projects! The strawberry one turned out so cute! So sweet to mention our beloved Buster and starting your evergreen project on his birthday! I really enjoy witnessing your passion for your stitching and craft projects! And I enjoyed seeing Simon and hearing about your squirrel visits! Great idea to reach out for ideas on naming your squirrel and also ideas to attract birds! ❤️🪡🧶
Thanks so much! :) :) :) Simon is officially a flosstuber!! 😂 You know how he likes to be part of the fun!
I love hershey park! Used to go there as a kid every year :). Great WIPs. Your long dog is looking amazing! I'll be going to midsummer stitch so maybe I'll see you there! Happy stitching!
Thank you!! When I saw your SAGA project I thought I might want to start that as my next long dog when this one is done! Hope to see you at Midsummer Stitch!
I am going to do the 2025 stitch for Modern Folk Embroidery. Thank you for sharing the pattern. I have liked the previous ones bus not enough to join in.
Yay! This one really is special, I can’t wait to start it. Now for the hard part: picking the colors!! :)

Wow! That snippet from Pandemic is going to be amazing! I love your approach; a little at a time is a great start to tiny stitching. I love all your projects, thanks for sharing 😁
Thank you for sending me the supplies!! ♥️ It’s so precious, I love it!
Hi! It would be nice if you showed how it looks like finished… some of them i know, but just saying 😊 you have amazing projects, very nice! 🌺🌸
Thanks for watching and for the advice!! ♥️☺️ I totally forgot about doing that in my first video, I did it in my second and I will moving forward!
@@jennycraftsandreads looking forward to watch ! 😊
Jenny...so sorry to hear about Buster...your beautiful stitching and patterns are awesome...best wishes❤
Aw thanks for much for the sweet message, I really appreciate it! ♥️♥️
Hi Jenny - I have done embroidery for many years and French knots come out better and are easier to do when you do them two-handed which means have the fabric very taught in a hoop or q-snap and make it steady and free top and bottom in a stand - either floor stand or lap stand. Then you have one hand above and one below the hoop and your needle "tag teams'" with each hand. Lovely video.
Hi!! Thanks so much for the tip!! ♥️
I’m so glad the world came together you to send you support when you needed! So many gorgeous and big projects! Beautiful knitting too! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much! ♥️♥️
Lovely to come across your channel this morning ☺ your projects are beautiful!
Thank you!! ♥️😊
