I've been having a lot of fun with this game Mind you, although it says it's fully released, it still feels like early access But as that's mostly what I play, I'm used to things not working or bits missing

I must have assumed that since I showed the direction, a map location wouldn't be necessary

Yeah, a few games I play do this and it doesn't make any sense Ones like Aska are better as you can only carry one log but they let you make sleds and carts to help

They do make a lot of comments, but after a while you notice how limited they are as well I even noticed different ones make a similar comment about the fountain in New Atlantis I wonder if I'll still be around when games have AI NPCs

@@NowtButGaming I'm guessing they should be along fairly soon. Most browser's have AI assistance now. The one I use with Brave is fairly decent. I don't see any reason why they couldn't be integrated into games.

I think they changed the radius of influence for certain buildings amongst other things in a recent patch So desirability also dropped in some areas Quite useful really as I enjoyed rebuilding this area

It's a great game to play Finding things in this game can be difficult It took a while to realize that the big dinosaur bones you see are mineable

My purpose isn't for massive channel growth I just like playing games and I'm publishing what I do on the off chance it entertains others

I never thought about compost so that's interesting to know Back when I started this playthrough the focus was on crop yield I worked out what size field would produce the most crops per farmer and that worked out at 7x7 At the minute I'm getting 100% fertility, which is odd, as I found fertility a real struggle in my first playthrough There's been a few patches since mind so it might be worth a revisit as I think a lot of crops are being spoiled anyway

I'm finding plenty of bugs or "features" in this fully released game I've noticed they release hotfixes mind so there's still hope

I think it's an acquired taste I've been playing it a lot Mostly to follow the story But also to see what the game is like and what you can and cannot do No idea why the developer's think this is a fully released game though

Yeah, I never got used to blocking in this game though Not sure why but it seemed too slow for me so I stopped trying

It gets more interesting later on I started getting lost at time with the story

I didn't notice that but it's hilarious I found a rifle and then got frustrated I had to buy another one for a quest That's because I was saving up to buy bullets for the one I already had

I figured out the Tent ( Craft menu, build/craft icon then campfire icon tent is at the top) I cannot figure out the Hare Traps. - Oh boy - Wait till you get hit with Overheating every 5 minutes..

Yeah that can get frustrating I have to keep moving around to pick up a stone for instance And with fields I seem to have to face them at a certain angle to interact with them

@@NowtButGaming I do not use WSAD keys, I always use the keyboard arrow keys for gaming. It's the having to reach over to the E key that while timing my approach to the object I wish to pick up that screws me up. I found it's much easier to use my 5 button mouse and map the interact key to a mouse button so I don't have to reach over the keyboard. It makes the walking and gathering smoother.

You can switch between 1st and 3rd person although I usually prefer 1st What I found funny though is you can move just a small distance and objects disappear from the edge of the screen

Yeah, I think devs should play a game themselves so they better know what it's like I suppose that's what EA is for, to get player feedback But this could do with some "polish"

Yeah, it does seem different to the original game It has its problems and it doesn't feel complete but it's still interesting

Yes it is on Steam I think the devs have pulled ideas from a number of games, including Anno, and added a Pirate theme to it

I'm finding it odd that they keep moving the resources or swapping them around I think they're rethinking the areas but I'll have to go back through the map and see where they've moved this for my own playthrough as well

Turns out you can still find iron just N of Ridgeback Mine In this video I followed the path into the shroud and found iron where the road ends If you follow that same path you'll find some on either side, but before the road ends

Now that sounds like an interesting game This feels like other games I've played before to me, but with a different theme Having said that, I do like games for their back story, and this one I find interesting
