Base vettes are still damn near 500hp stock. They don't put little baby v6 or turbo 4s in corvettes yet. They're still v8s and only v8s.

It wasn't the speed. It was the acceleration on cold tires caused tires to break loose. Maybe at the point where 1st to 2nd shift or 2nd to 3rd shift (if it was automatic) broke the tires loose, and driver wasn't expecting that. You still should be able to correct for it but driver skill wasn't good enough or he was not paying close enough attention. When someone is showing off, they tend to spend some of their attention on "how good do I look to people watching".

The groom was Amish but never chose to join the Amish church as he became a 'man'. Non of the Amish participated in any of the dancing. It he had joined the church and then left the church there probably wouldn't have been many Amish there if any at all.

We are pretty sure we'll plan a road trip. At one point in a 5 hour span we had 3 hours of sweet twisty roads. I've never seen anything like it except Colorado.

@@landis_carz5424 Well that continued into WV, Virginia, and Md. It was just nuts. But I thought the same as you that Ohio was all boring roads. Most of them are honestly except southern Ohio. I actually had the thought in my mind that it was as much fun as a track day. The speed limit on Rt 555 is 55mph so you don't even speed that much. There were some corners that no way a normal car can do more then 40 through the corners.
