Ipad basic model is a better and cheaper choice, but the main issue is there are so many distractions as it might defeat the purpose of focusing on something you wanted to do, I am caught in between, the price on a remarkable tablet is more expensive than the iPad 🥲

For Samsung: Does it feel like real A4 paper without the need to zoom in and out? This feature is essential for me, as using a small tablet is frustrating. When I write on A4 paper, I can use both small and large handwriting with a pencil comfortably.

I have watched video about Nokia 3210 4g but it doesn't have kaios so that is not nice, however now Nokia 8000 will be my favorite phone with 5ghz wifi and 4g, hope can buy new one in 2024

Apple pencil is terrible.. one of apples worst designs..greatly prefer the surface slim pen 2 with haptics it's not clacky, draggy and stows away very nicely on my surface laptop studio

for Europeans: do not buy the remarkable unless you have a CC. for once, essential functions are only covered by the annual subscription, like data syncing, though you get a year free, you need to have a CC right away, otherwise those functions cannot be used. given the price tag, the superb competition, its just deceiving, a rip off.

Is there a setting I have to switch for it not to sense my hand? I've had mine for a few days now, and have accidentally brushed the "x" w my hand and closed out a few dozen times now

There are other tips and screen films that address your “feel” issues on iPad. For me the extensive functionality of the iPad make it well worth the price delta. Back and white notes? Boring. Enjoy your Remarkable but let’s not pretend it is any real competition to an iPad. It simply is not. Give me an iPad with Goodnotes, OneNote, or even the Apple Notes app any day over this thing.

I hate writing on paper. It's loud, draggy, scratchy. Can't imagine ppl on purpose buy low contrast, scratchy abomination instead of having clean easy on eyes easily zoomable superior product. It's something like that craze with clicky clacky keyboards, or using emacs, I guess, makes you feel "special", in both senses of the word. I started programming and using devices in the early 90s, super happy to enjoy the massive progress in input output since then, and the whole "let's imitate paper and use annoyingly loud grandfather keyboards" trend looks identical to "let's abandon modern medicine and go back to nature" to me.

Is your onyx device still working properly? I'm curious to know the durability of onyx boox note series. Will it last for 3 to 4 years? I need one which lasts for academic and note taking purpose.

I love my Lamy and still use my remarkable marker. I also use Titanium Allow Metal nibs, which vastly reduce the worn tips and keep me from writing with too much pressure. You can also use your Lamy ballpoint and fountain pen barrels if you want to change the color. I can now use my favorite Blue Lamy Fountain pen!

I have just started using STAMINA on my Fenix 7. Acting on advice I used the max recommended of 4 on the layout...Current Stamina (Top) Potential Stamina (Bottom) Stamina (Distance and Stamina (Time) in the middle. Then after today's ride - looking for more info I Google Searched "understanding Garmin Stamina" and came across your video. This is a great app. Appreciate you doing what I would never attempt - I am keen enough with sufficient motivation but am also clinically lazy enough to enjoy staring out the window which explains my career choice (long haul heavy jet Captain -retired) What concerns me though.....Having the % remaining on screen might become self-fulfilling as thousands of controlled double blind studies have shown that the control (Placebo) groups have often amazingly similar results to the study group. I will continue with the app off screen on my regular route and compare the result.. As you seem determined to do this 300 km self-flagellation why not repeat your 218 km exercise off screen and compare later with your initial effort? Thoughts?
