Indulge in the soul-stirring melodies of "STILL LONGING," a classical music album conceived by baritone Peter Kendall Clark. Together with cellist Tyler Michael James and pianist Jestin Pieper, they engage with timeless themes of loss and longing, in a uniquely moving program of Romantic vocal chamber music. Produced and recorded by Hannan Du of Mondaymusic,
on April 20 at The Church of St. James the Less, in Scarsdale, Peter’s hometown church.
Clark remarked: “The Parish Hall of St. James The Less has housed performances of me and my family for decades. After my father’s passing in 1998 my mother produced chamber music concerts and art shows here for many seasons. My mother passed in 2022, and coming back to make this album in the place where we have spent so much of our lives with our community feels like a homecoming. Collaborating with my friends Tyler and Jesse on this project has been very powerful. We are pleased to share our renditions of Bernstein, Brahms, Strauss, Tchaikovsky, and Viardot and look forward to our upcoming performances.”
