Dont go there! Its full of scammers. They first are acting very nice to you then they want you to go visit there shop. And they will try to sell You stuff at very inflated prices. If You say no to buying their shitty wood turtles they change their attitude to You very quickly or even worse they rob you in their own store.
Sorry to hear that! To be honest those people are not Cape Verdeans, they come from other countries to sell stuff. You see this actually everywhere in the world.. you should try out the other islands, they are less touristic!

Is there any nightlife in Cape Verde? Nightclubs, or beach parties, etc
Yes for sure, there are several bars on the main street. For 1 week I find it's good, but after a while it feels a bit repetitive for me. However, there are also big events in Sal for example a big festival in September, that is definitely worth visiting!
