Heads up from June 2024! I am using a TOR Webdriver and you should know that doing so will trigger an automatic block. Indeed uses Cloudflare as a security solution, and cloudflare automatically blocks TOR exit nodes (and here I was thinking that I was being clever). If you want to avoid getting blocked scraping, you may want to consider using something like Bright Data. I haven't done so yet, but I'm working on it. The video was awesome though and a big help overall. Thanks for posting.

Got stuck on my project. Needed this.

I’m struggling with getting a json output from an api and converting it to a dataframe that preserves the hierarchy of the nested data. It’s a very large dataset with expected output of 15000 total rows. I got it done by looping over each row of parent data and json_normalizing each child row with recursion. However this takes a very long time. ChatGPT is suggesting to do this with dicts but I can’t get it to work! Note each row of data has a column called child that has the same columns as parent and can go down to four levels for each parent row.

I keep getting: "ERROR:cert_issuer_source_aia.cc(34)] Error parsing cert retrieved from AIA (as DER): ERROR: Couldn't read tbsCertificate as SEQUENCE ERROR: Failed parsing Certificate" when using Selenium. I don't want to use "options.add_experimental_option('excludeSwitches', ['enable-logging'])" in Python as this seems to sweep the issue under the rug and may cause security issues in a production environment. The official reddit community appears to be dead due to a mod tantrum and they moved to some really obscure message board that nobody seems using. I've been searching for a solution for days with someone on reddit saying "Most likely an expired ca public cert in the browsers cert store. so please update the browser and webdriver you use." but it's not clear how to "update the browser" my main browser is up to date and I downloaded a webdriver that matches my main chrome browser's version and made the proper changes in my python code to ensure that webdriver is being used and the error still happens. I should add that the actual scraping works fine, but it can nor be done through an insecure connection.
