I guess this genre is called nanyin (南音) or nanguan (南管).
Респект!!!
And the world calls Americans loud, rude, obnoxious, and disrespectful...🙄 OUTSTANDING ceremony!
If you March like that in battle the war would be lost
When the boy in the background copied, I felt that
They're like half Chinese, and some British because they have monarchy
It takes them like 88 hours for them to march
RIP Chiang Kai-shek. Your legacy and mission to wipe out the communists in China still lives on today. Long live Taiwan.

looks like Michael Jackson video clip :D
Agreed, I'm happy they've changed some moved, at least not kicking so high. Looks so much better, check some recent videos!
這個隊伍是很罕見的三軍儀隊共演,白色衣服的是海軍,藍色衣服的是空軍,穿綠色的隊長是陸軍
腳怎麼抬的比較高?
@@kefan_ 這是2009的影片了 動作可能有做更改
Why are their uniforms so shit compared to PRC uniforms?
They must have changed the routine, because they don't walk quite like that anymore. They don't stick their legs out at a 90 degree angle anymore.
Amazing precision!
Are these guys "guards" or "color guards?" All that flipping and twirling.
What is this a marching band? Quit playing with them guns and change the guards already
Allow of a hour soldier need to get a hour repeat because they allow die for to fight to protect there country freedoms
The facility is clearly inspired on the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, but to a different end.
the end of China Communist is near. Taiwanese should take over the mainland with help from India, Japan, and Singapore, may be Vietnam too
guard change of former Wehrmacht--> ua-cam.com/video/RDLu3mXux18/v-deo.html
Seems like there’s a confusion of identity here. Like what are they supposed to be? Are they soldiers or circus entertainers?
Damn anime marching
CHIANG KAI SHEK was a murderer , Taiwanese should dump this garbage corpse in the dump and fill up with feces.
Its called discipline.....takes months to learn to do it.
Changing of the Guard, should be an Olympic Event, it'll probably be the only drug free event.
Looks more like a circus show than a military ceremony to me.
DUMP THOSE STINKING BONES INTO SULPHURIC ACID AND CANCEL THESE FRIGGING STUPID DRILLS !
It's spelled "Chiang Kai-Shek". Not 'Chang'; and 'Kai-Shek' is hyphenated... just saying. Anything worth doing, is worth doing correctly.
Just do drill like everyone else
Sorry folk but I just can't take these soldiers that look like contestants in a silly walking contest serious why don't they just march like the ones in the UK?
This is one of the most fascinating videos I've ever watched because I definitely learned about a different culture's military and how the tomb of a former leader is guarded.
the most ridiculous ....
Not inspiring drill for showing respect. It looks like a cheap half time show at a basketball game.
More of a SHOW than a respectful change of guard.
Well, that's what General Chiang liked, and it is his army.
Can anyone explain why so much flipping and twisting and acrobatics of gun control? What's the purpose of that? I'm not judging or laughing, I'm trying to find out the significance of the maneuvers. Thanks.
it originates from the fact during the change they would check their guns in front of each other to make sure everything is in order, it kind of evolved from there, if you watch the american tomb of the unknown soldier they do it in a much more practical way
cobblers
THESE GUARDS DO AS THEY ARE TOLD. IT'S ALL A MATTER OF DISCIPLINE. NOW, DO YOU WANT TO FIGHT THEM?
Yeah sure, I could see some random dude on youtube take down five Military Polices EASILY.
I'm guessing they got the idea for the memorial from the Lincoln memorial in Washington, DC
為什麼這個步伐看起來有點怪...
copied from the Greeks
These guys look a lot sharper than the Greeks..
No, this is not copy one. Actually it base on German and US trian.
judokus Diderich I think that both marches are actually german inspired.
Monty Python Ministry of funny walks.
Not as funny to American
Так мемориал на некоторое время остается неохраняемым получается! А если вандалы...?)))
All that high stepping. Silly.
Fucking crowd has no respect....
Man they look...great
