@@1oldtymer The original idea for this in description was x10 harder but yuna thankfully had everything I needed. One of the few clears I needed more than 4 characters on frontline for.

Mentioned in description but is status effect called betrayal which was on only one other boss for longest time and can't refight it.

Only the turn 1 attack is single target yes, stopper attacks are aoe and for rest of clear party speed is high enough so boss never outspeeds and attacks aside from stopper attack. 2/4 on single turn is very small rng compared to other clears I have done...

This blew me away. This boss i just learned is the hardest superboss to date. And you treated it like a stress toy XD very impressive! I’m stuck on this and eternal diamonte

@@MsNinian1 This boss removes af at start of battle but AS flammelapis passive gives 50% af at start of battle here. SA aldo can also do same and give more af and better support/dps but I refuse to use SA system. If wanting to replicate this video then want to be exact and use AS flammelapis or else you will hit stopper and not recharge af with AS lovely counters.

@@yaroslavkolodiy8901 It is possible to get every phase listed in description, just matter of rng mostly. Did take few resets sometimes to even get an attempt past phase 2. Expect lot of rng here, also is not possible to get same phase twice in a row here.

Made sure to follow rotation properly in af and everything else correctly equipped on everyone? Should be overkill with reforge

Yeah this is very precise clear with basically no room for adjustments or later turns. Only other possible method maybe is 4 skill slot yipha but wouldn’t go that far.

Can replace for a sidekick with auto attack that does no hits like lord ukelele, might have to improve damage and adjust damage each phase to hit stopper with ashtear after each time. Don't want to hit stopper directly aside from end.

You need to stack as much resist as possible I think . Also dreamer ring and illusory staff give like +80 luck if I am not wrong very useful for tanking.

Thank you, and korobo has an aura in ground environment that gives 100% status res to all allies for entire battle. Which makes this boss drastically easier due to no statuses, only downside is korobo aura gives enemy 100% status res as well so can’t use poison/pain yourself unless you have skill with ignore res.

@@dansattah Starwrym slash would be stronger for dps, I refuse to use SA system though so dragon god: sign is strongest for af here.

Lot of issues with system itself even if free characters you can get without them. And make stuff way too easy like taking out entire phases of fights before enemy even attacks while not getting punished in majority of cases.

For this fight is basically impossible for non SA story clear here, this is on expert difficulty. Wrote details for this in description, this is doable on master but needs at least SA galliard for survival and maybe SA aldo for dps.

Yep, like mentioned in description I refuse to use SA system as a whole.

Ideally want to be exact as possible here and ES claude is very hard to replace here.

@@losersbecomewinners2043 Just made it so null magic attacks are affected by magic res only instead of elemental/type res. This clear would not be possible if colette and xianhua were affected by type res here unless you debuffed elemental/type res a lot.

They are mandatory for 5 turn clear here due to af charge they give while being able to hold pandora can.

Alter toova has mechani lance and higher speed to swap out before myrus uses beastly impact. Falcon blessing isn’t consumed when they swap in on turn 2 and af on turn 3 since they aren’t using a move, depending on speed you have myrus and alter toova at there is good chance it is speed rng unless your taking longer to get through first two phases of the fight.

Suzette with sonic lance can make all allies priority for 3 turns which makes it possible for suzette to outspeed AS necoco with higher speed due to everyone having priority. It also gives x1.5 damage increase here due to environment

2nd badge slot and 4th grasta slot are pretty impactful here. I think I got buff count too high on azami if I remember right so if you lower buff count to 7 then should be able to do similar or higher damage than in video even at lower light.

I am working on setup for them, just gonna take a while to make it

It plays out normally like nothing happened

Also after beating this fight and fighting this boss again for story I have two physical res katana grastas (which is not intended)

Shame I couldn't use it on turn 1... only character that can do rage + magic counter here is alter dunarith and didn't have them.

I kind of been holding off on this boss due to other things to take care of and the idea of Alma Another style coming next month who has easy way outs for LOADS of bosses thanks to her standard stuff changing to weakness by default and with the power of necoco AS, Alma AS could just hyper cheese a boss with reflective Bullet could let Alma tap the break gauge 2~4 times a turn thanks to the counter....well it seems like a more realistic way `out` of dealing with a poorly designed mechanic, since i still say Octopath collab is the worst of all the collabs so far in Another Eden, even compared to Persona 5`s two collabs. Taking the approach with `Counter` certainly seems less stressful to wedge a Yakumo or Persona 5 member todo it instead of wasting precious star tomes on getting Tsukiha Star awaken purely for this boss & Azami only, but i will likely just use my Xmas eve after work (huzzah for a 1~6:30 shift instead of 6~11) or Xmas to properly deal with it finally to put myself caught up on the content besides the B.S. stuff. @@c0ffeedr1nker48

After learning about updated fight it unfortunately won’t due to the steroid buffs reapplied due to not hitting stopper each turn

Earth zone VC and her another sense passive. Overthrow from her another sense passive is massive damage increase here (idk exact level of this boss but is likely level 120+ which is around x1.7+ damage). Her VC has a chance to inflict pain as well with epoctech armor or dormant pain grasta

⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠@@TheRookieJAlt myunfa support with earth zone skill (higher speed + falcon) > please (buff skill) could help alt shannon damage but lokido damage might not be enough or be close. Would also want to reduce her mp consumption enough so her earth zone skill is 0 mp on turn 1 and have kumos on frontline for mp restore for turns 2/3, would also want mp drain to hit her.

Can try lowering her hp to 80% and using enhance if low hp grasta if needed. Ideally need 120+ colette for this clear, if not then likely need to think of other ways to improve turn 1 damage or just use judgement next turn and debuff water res with AS flammelapis before colette attacks. Can swap in magic zone and debuff elemental or type res with a VC from second character turn 2 even. Just want falcon blessing if a character swaps in directly to frontline.

Lokido should be fine at lower light, only difference here is 15 power on lokido which shouldn't be enough to impact things. He is overkilling most of the time, depending on what moves boss uses in split phase could affect how much damage you do for phase 3.
