You definitely could as same year. It was originally red so would have been easier but loved the look of that blue on it and they did a great job with the body and paint. It was perfection.

Hey Mason. I started with a great foundation you built. Did you see the seats and headliner the upholstery guys did? I had them add lumbar top and bottom and deleted the head rests. Bought a white perfed headliner to match the top but would have had to find bows for it to work so had them do a custom black cloth headliner in it. Replaced every piece of suspension from front to rear too so it drives like it did when new.

@@brunoclassics man those seats looked amazing! Even got the dome light working haha! I would have loved to drive it with new suspension. I can only imagine the difference that made. The suspension was beyond shot… awesome to see it finally get done.

That's actually the legendary 340 beast coming in at 200lbs lighter than the 440. Big difference over even my other 3 383 Chargers.

You can really see the lines of the car when just painted a solid color. That was a true muscle car which was rare in the mid-70's as everyone shifted to fuel efficiency.

That's cool. You gotta get one then. What's so amazing about the Classics is all the history tied to them and memories. I always have people coming up to me with a story about that same car when they were younger, or their relative had one or bought one new, etc. No car built today will be cruising around in 50yrs, or 40, or....Too many electrical and computer issues before then.

I miss my '64 too. Nothing looks or rides like the 63-65 Riv. At least my '64 went to a great collectors arsenal so only gonna be well taken care of.

I agree. Have 3 B Body Chargers and this is a first A Body. Blast to drive and gets up and goes with the 340 and being much smaller and lighter.

I have a walk around video of her too on the channel. Will be on BaT soon and I'll do a driving video as well. Just waiting on the weather.

Nice! You must have changed that exterior color with that green interior? Just got done looking at mine today at resto shop, there going to do the vinyl top and headliner next. He said since it’s a driver I should think about going to a black top instead of white because white is so hard to keep clean, he’s right I had a horrible time cleaning off dried bird shit and cherries 🍒 off it, I really considering a black vinyl top. It’s going to look like the charger in “Christine” what do you think? My charger came with a white top, blue interior and QQ1 exterior. Oh man I would love to see your chargers, I would take a 1970 charger 500 with a 383. 4BL car next is mt second choice!

​@@carebear2272yeah it was originally medium green and 2nd owner stripped it all down and painted it black. He wanted the Bullit look. I would rather have it 100% original but cant complain with black. You can see the 66 and 67 on my website. About to order salt flat rims for the 67 as it's closer to completion and the 67 hubcaps aren't as good looking as the 66s. The 68 is actually my logo. Tough to say on white or black. Definitely harder to keep clean unless she sits in a garage and only driven on nice days. Although, that Christine combo is a tough looking Charger.

Yep. I agree with you. Need to find a different mount for the GoPro. Sitting on the head is too high and on the chest is too low once behind the wheel. Almost needs to mount on side of the head at eye level to be accurate. May need to fabricate something.

They actually had it as an option to get the Starsky and Hutch paint job.

That was a great color for the Willys and the 302 running gear made it a great ride. I actually just picked up another 49 Willys bu 4x4 and 100% original. Also, another rust free classic. It has the farmer extra John Deere green paint brushed on though so debating on color right now and will post once done.
