I just ordered an 872. I'm pretty handy, but I am curious about reliability after reading about some complaints.
I'm glad to hear yours is holding up. Mine developed a severe oil leak while still under warranty. After sending NeoTec two videos of the leak and pictures, their response has been to ignore me. Be warned that NeoTec won't honor warranties.
We’d be able to hear you better without the ballet music blaring in the background.
Our 070 has the decomp blanked off,I have no trouble pulling over
do you have any idea what chain the Neotec 16 NS846 takes in terms of drive links, chain gauge, and pitch? I see confusing information on the Neotec website for the NS846.
.325/.63/62dl. They are the same as stoxk Stihl Ms250
I was thinking Echo CS-590
Its not an Echo. I have a Echo 670 and have worked on 590s not the same. I am pretty sure is a Zenoah clone or something like that.
Clone of the Husqvarna 55 ,have the same chainsaw as yours here in Australia 🇦🇺
Well, at least you're not wearing shorts and sandals. 🙄 There ya go!
Do i need to lol? No i wont do that. Might not wear the chaps all the time but im not crazy enough to shorts and sandels actually cutting trees
@@ShularWood Ha Ha thanks for reply. Forgive me as I was being a bit sarcastic. I see way too many influencers not wearing proper PPE. Good to hear You do wear chaps. I get it, PPE can be a nuisance, and it always gets hot under my Husky forestry helmet, but that screen and hard shell has saved me many a time from minor injuries, and the ears muffs are essential! I’d gladly trade the minor discomfort from wearing gloves, helmet, chaps, etc, for the possible life changing traumatic injury. I DON”T CARE who You are out there, accidents happen to the best of them. Be safe! Peace! 🤝
@@georgedavall9449 yeah i have chaps i wear. Im in in the woods with brush or cutting in a way that my legs are at a risk to get cut.
Take a good flat file and take about two strokes off those rakers and that saw should cut a little better
👍
Here's a free tech tip for the 3120 , buy an OEM black coil for 272 xp and that'll take care of the saw breaking up no rev limiter
I was wondering which no rev limit coil would work for it.
It is a larger cc clone of a redmax/zenoah 5200.
Thank you sir. I wasnt sure. I got it to see how it was.
Was thinking of buying one but Stihl 881 won ,could have saved 1300 £
I like the stihl 881 juat couldnt beat the price
@@ShularWood Need a 3120 to add to my collection Xmas coming ,Ali Baba say £280 dollors for clone is that good price
@@huskywiz how much is that in US dollars
@@ShularWood That was US dollars Ali BaBa
@11:27 Thanks for doing the important bits off camera
Sorry didnt catch that. There is a little screw on the side that is a grease hole.
Your kidding me they actually made this saw with a pro clutch drum, that is a huge improvement over the stock saw. I wonder how this saw would handle non safety low pro 3/8ths 18 inch bar ? I would love to try one these with 325 full skip.
I have ran it a lot since the video and it has ran flawless every time. I like the 16 inch bar. I have a 20 on another saw i think might work im gonna run one day just to see.
kolrga where did you buy it. how can it be bought for Europe. Greetings
Neotecworld.com. I do not onow about Europe delivery tho.
👍👍👍👍
Thank you
👌👌👍👍
Thank you
Good presentation 🤙
Thank you 🙌
Are you still satisfied with this product after 3 months? How do you adjust the carburetor?
I am extremely satisfied with it. And havent had to adjust this one. But its a single screw. The littler version needed leaned out just a tiny bit.
Have you used the blade attachment? I was wondering if you could use it to take out saplings. Oh because of your reply I bought one BC520 so thank you for your honest review and reply.
@@aprilnylund7780 I have used the blade attachment. The blade works ok but if u hit something hard with it it will bend easy. I wouldnt cut anything more than thick grass with it
Id love to have that 8120 for a stump saw. Im only 135 lbs so i aint so sure i could run it but id sure try
They arent that heavy
@@matthewknight5641 big thing is long bars. 881 with a 59” is awkward, so not weight per-say but how such a long bar makes it balance weird. Once you are in a cut the wood is holding the saw. The Gym is also not a bad idea
@@nsatoday I'm in pretty good shape I've just always been really little. I run my 660 just fine but I'd say a saw that weighs 30 or 40 lbs is probably more than I'd want. Especially if I had to make more than a one or two cuts. Saws are more of my hobby anyways. I'm normally just a flat bed truck driver that's rarely home to get to mess with my saws
Good review👍🏻
Thanks! 👍
Looks good man. Was that a Stihl 090 clone you brought out when the husky clone was stuck?
It was a 070 clone built to a 090.
next time you get the bar pinched like that dont let up on the throttle keep the rpm going and slide the saw out. it will want to come out on its own
Good job👍🏻
Thank you, sir.
I wonder if it was ported like a 660 or higher Rev saw how it would be?? I think it's awesome like it is but ported to turn some real rpms and look out lol
I have thought about the same thing but im almost afraid to. 66mm is a heavey piston to be slinging around to fast. I did remove the baffle on tbe front of the muffler and it helped alot. As a 105cc or 120cc it wasnt as restricted as a 137cc it was restricted bad woth thst little delfecter/baffle on it.
@@ShularWood Id say as long as the crank and piston are balanced really well it would be ok with higher rpm but if it's off balance it might sling it's self apart. I'd love to have a saw like that as a stump saw
I'd love to have that saw. It's absolutely a beast
Easy build man and if ya not fimilar with saws a good way to learn a little on how they work.
Whats a moster?
Sprry typo. I try send these out as im going to bed so phone will upload on the charging stand.
I've got one I use some
Amazing little saw for 1/2 price of name brand.
What is the orgon replacement chain part number
Im not sure about that. Is a .325/.063 woth 62 drive links. The same size as factory Stihl 250 chains.
Thanks for your help and time. I guess where I was hung up was it shows the gauge of the chain in the specs for the saw as 0.50 and ms250 show the 0.63 guage chain. However, I trust your advice, and thanks for your help
😂😂😂
??
Thank you so much for featuring our chainsaw! We love how you showcased its features. Your support means a lot to us! 🌟 #NEOTEC
Thank you
Do you use 40:1 in that?
I use amsoil saber 50:1
Thanks for the video. Helped out lots
Glad it helped thanks for watching
I love my neotecs!! I also have the 038 clone in the 872i and that saw if an absolute beast!! 2 years and multiple big oaks and not a single problem. I have 3 or 4 more neotecs and other than some small things which Neotec took care of immediately I've had very little issue. I would love to know what the squish is on that saw. I'm willing to bet with a base gasket delete and a muffler mod that saw would pull the heck out of a 20" bar. You said the heat index was 105 this day and judging by your accent ide saw your not to far from me lol. I'm in South Alabama and the heat index 2 days ago was 112 so I feel your pain. Great review!!
Thank you. Yeah it probably could get meaner with some work but right now gonna leave it stock till im done testing im gonna leave it stock. I have a 872i thst i did a timing advance and just threw a home made muffler mod on that is mean. Ive got a buddy of mine that does porting that is gonna work on a 872 and we will see how they hold up ported.
The MS-250 is a great little saw. I’ve been thinking about adding this guy to my collection.
I love it. For little stuff its my go to around house.
😮😮😮
??
Just received the same weed eater and mine will start up but bogs and stalls when throttled. Have you had similar issues.
No i have not. I did adjust my carb a lolittle cause it was running rich after it broke in some.
What’s the weight of the bar without the chain?
Just shy of 4lbs.
Did the big bore have more power
It helps.. i prefer the NS872I but i been running the NH872 lately after i modded muffler and its doing real good cant complain.
@@ShularWoodis there really much of a difference between the two? I’m looking at both of these and I can’t decide which to go with.
Sprry for delay. Yes the NS has i bit more torque at higher rpm it seems. May be wrong but it feels that way.
How are you liking the ns872 so far? It looks like it's cutting pretty good. I just bought one and it should be delivered next week. I really like Stihl pro saws, I just can't afford them. Lol
The NS 872 is my go to saw.. I love it. I may run others when i cut but th the ns872 is always with ne. I dont go to cut without it
Bad video
What bad about it??? Would love some feed back on how to improve.
How, one of the only videos on these products and your gonna complain, how pathetic😂
@ShularWood The mic. It's impossible to hear you talking. The entire unboxing, it was just bangs and clunks. To hear you talk, I had to crank the volume so high and try to turn it down when you weren't talking.
@@lepermessiah66bThere's a lot of them.
I watched some of your other videos. They are fine .
Yeah, the microphone wasn't picking you up.
. Ill try get a mic sometime in the future thank you
i ran husqvarna saws for years.my last one lasted 15 years but i could not justify over 1500.00 for a new saw at this point.so i got an ns892-36 inch and its not bad for 1/3 the price. now i think i will order this 52cc weed wacker.
I love these things reasonable price runs great..
Don't waste your money like I did. This brand is garbage
Been running Neotec saws for a year now processing firewood. I have 4 saws and 2 weedeaters. Nothing but minor issue that can be fixed easily. Nothing that other manufacturers havent had. If ya dont like them then ya dont like them. The proformance i have gotten for the price i cant complain. Beats 1500 on a single saw.
