I bought my XDM 9 compact 3.8 in 2016. Probably about the height of the internet hating these guns. To this day, I've seen no issues beyond the typical squib that occasionally happens. That said, I've put over 10,000 rds through my XDM 9 with no noteworthy issues. I will say, with controversy surrounding this pistol, and it getting to my head, do worry about it from time to time and I'm looking to get a new EDC. But I still enjoy my XDM9 too much to get rid of her.

I got the same rifle, but with a mustang-22. What grain projectile do you use because nothing I have is close to subsonic.

Great video man. Ive had mine for a few years. It does well enough for psa. The last round bolt hold open and no feed ramp has really got to be a pain for me lately. Im looking to upgrade to something else or see if i can find a parts to fix what i dont like.

Ruger used to make a 30 round mag. I purchased one from a friend. New in the Ruger package. I love my Mini 14 for all the same features you do. Get me a chair and I will sit in my front yard. "Get Off My Lawn"

My ranch rifle is all black,but do like your stainless,came equipped with two five round mags,I purchased a couple of twenty round ruger factory mags for it from cheaper than dirt since I was unable to find any at the local dealers in my area and also found them at the shop ruger store

I shot mine for the first time today, July, 2024. It jammed every shot with CCI MINI MAGS. It would not go into battery so I had to bump it, every shot to fire it. At this point I wish I would’ve bought another Taurus TX22 for just a little more money. I will clean it and try it again then send it back to KelTek if it doesn’t shoot.

I do have a Psa gen 3 AR 10 chambered is 6.5 creedmoor, and for the money I paid for this rifle, it is really a great rifle and a lot of fun to shoot. It all started out as budget rifle build just for kicks but it really surprised me in the end. And it's been very accurate. And as a budget built rifle, I also added a budget scope the arken sh 4, which also surprised at how well it performed. I absolutely loved my rifle set up.

“Just Kel Tec things” God damn I love to hate them. The RDB is a fun rifle, but it can’t even malfunction the same way often enough for me to get mad at it. It keeps throwing me for a loop with the new ways it finds to not work at working.

When it comes to the P17, people either love it or hate it. I like mine. When I first saw one, I thought, what an ugly ass pistol and I'd NEVER buy one. As time went on, I looked at it again, and so I got one in OD green. I cleaned and oiled it first and I lubed the underside of the slide. I took it to the range the first chance I got, loaded it with what I call "cracker box" ammo. Ran all but 5 (4duds, 1 failed to eject). I found the trigger to be outstanding, and the sights were dead on. I only loaded 10 rounds in each magazine. In my area, the cheapest I found this pistol was $212 and then all of a sudden, they were gone.

I bought the exact same kit and turned mine into an SBR by putting some different pieces on it. Right now I'm using the carry handle iron sights set up. Sling. Standard Magpul 6 position adjustable stock. Magpul vertical foregrip. Bright ass flashlight with pressure switch. Lots and lots and lots of various quantity magazines and lots and lots of 556 and 223 ammo. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

My first firearm was the P229 in .40 S&W; one of, if not the best pistol to wield that caliber. After feeling the kick of .40 on the FNP-40, my next polymer was going to be a 9mm and it was the SP2022. With SIG rolling out newer pistols, the SPs are sure to be respectfully referenced alongside the classic P line.

Yep feed issues. Mine was supplied with two mags. One feeds pretty good , the other jams every third round. The top of the magazine where the round feeds from are slightly different shape to each other. Light guage cheesy tin by the look of it. Good cheap first gun though. Seems pretty accurate/repeatable like you guys said. Very happy with mine other than feed issue

Also picked one up. Nice looking 1911. Mine however won't lock back after last round. Any issues with yours?
