I honestly love Camilo in the movie. He seems like this type of prankster, but did you see how he reacted when his gift acted out of sorts (when he was searching for Mirabelle)? He carried on like nothing happened, or like it was on purpose. His gift could've been failing him for a long time, and the family never knew because they contributed it to another prank, or joke.
