Very helpful video in multiple respects. I am however having trouble getting the manually drawn rails to "follow stairs" at the correct angle just as you had trouble in this video. Any tips or resolutions for this? Thanks in advance. Alternatively if not drawing a manual rail is there a way to edit the newel post positioning with the stair dialog? IE on top of the first tread completely vs partially on and partially onto the floor

One advantage of going down these Rabbit holes with you is 'thinking outside the box'. All these challenges in getting upper cabinets lit from inside with vertical or horizontal rope lights and Mr. Wizard has come up with another time saving outside of the box use for these cool new PBR rendering techniques. Love it.

Thanks Rene, I'd never grasp that room molding polyline tab and grab feature. Now I can pull and stretch my room moldings around the unique stair feature and spaces below the stair. You'd make Harry Potter so proud!

im sure you have tried this already but once you have all you molding and angles in place you can use the FILLET tool to curve traps and corners ect... for anyone having probs, use the molding tool in plan view roughly where you want things then R click on the molding in 3D view to find you SELECT EDIT PLANE tool... hope that helps.. keep up the great work Rene !

Totally awesome workflow for as built and sit down design with an iPad Pro an Apple Pencil or just fingers with Chief Architect X11. CA Space planning tools all help with the design process or for the as built scenario. Thank you for the video.

What if I just want just the center bearing wall to be part of a monolithic pour, (chamfered footing) after the perimeter walls have been poured as typical footings?

Hi Rene. Some of my custom railing work using molding plotlines were blowing up when editing. This was duly reported and CA could duplicate it. I suspect the the reports are partially the impetus for not only fixing the problem but making this significant advancement. How did you discover this?

I have a project with same detail, great tutorial for college level Chief Arch .Your desktopo looks like a 747 airliner cockpit and you move way too fast for me to follow -went over several times and gave up : (

how do you get all those extra drawings starting at minute 13? we liked through catalogs and could only find 5 cad blocks for download.

Awesome feature but I can't try it yet! I don't see the Select Edit Plane tool available when I select the molding in 3D view. I am on 26.1.0.44 and I see the icon in the folder, just trying to figure out how to actually get to use it. Any suggestion?
