Hi Allie, I am a piano teacher and purchased your arrangement of Landslide from the website Musicnotes, as it is a National Federation of Music Clubs selection. One of my students is planning to play this piece. We have one question about the introduction section, which involves plucking the piano strings. My student and I are able to do that, however, we wondered, from your UA-cam video, did you remove the music stand off the instrument to better access the strings for plucking? Since my student is going to be performing it for a festival sponsored by NFMC, we have some questions about the logistics of how to smoothly transition from plucking to playing on the keys. Any performance tips or advice you could provide would be helpful to us. Thank you very much!

I’ve probably watched this video about 30 times or more and I just realized I’ve never left you a comment letting you know how much I love how you play this song. It really is incredible and I have shared it with friends as well. I was wondering if there was sheet music available for it. I’ve had a hard time finding anything for Farther Along other than the hymnal SATB format and I’m just not that great at embellishing my own playing so that would sound pretty boring straight out of the hymnal. ❤
