Hi, Great Video! As an real DR401-155CDI Pilot I want to add some informations cause there are some „mistakes“. First of all when you start the engine you should never ad some throttle cause the FADEC will automatic control the engine. The FADEC switch is only for emergency if your FADEC system doesn’t jump automatically to the healthiest system. If your FADEC battery isn’t charged and you force the engine to run on the FADEC B or A channel your engine will stop immediately. If you wanna test your FADEC-System you have to press the little black button called “FADEC Test” hold it till all the FADEC messages in your G1000 extinguished and your RPM is below 950RPM. During the FADEC-Test your Engine starts to increase the RPM and till a specific point the propeller feathering starts to test. Thereafter it will jump automatically to the other system with the same procedure. During this test you have to watch for the FADEC A and FADEC B failure message. If this message doesn’t extinguished your aren’t allow to take off cause there is a failure in the FADEC system. You did not realize, that Austin plans textures insteadt of Orthos just for the different seasons of Year. The green is another green in December than in July. You can´t show it with your orthos. I am strictly against the introducing of orthos; It is a plus-reason for staying at X-Plane and not go to MSFS. Handplaced texture work can look as good as your orthos now showing there in england. It´s the better choice for us. Trust me.

I'm finding the default aircraft to be a bit quirky and also pretty heavy on the framerate, so naturally this Robin DR401 is literally the opposite: great to fly and very light. I've found personally the default avionics are really tanking the fps on my end, together with the clouds.

Mir scheint das beste an XP12 ist der Regen? das ist zu wenig ;) Alle fliegen bei Regen und Dunkelheit, damit man XP12 irgendwie gut findet. Aber am Ende ist MSFS das beste!
