Hunting yes, as a tactical bolt action it would require a chassis and, depending on what you do, I'm not sure it has the accuracy for everything you' want. In that price range, I might trust a Tikka more ?

My bigger concern is that it felt like a rifle about equivalent with or a bit under an M&P15 in terms of quality, but you could get those on sale for half the price before our glorious leader had a tantrum.

Also the gun being made in Canada, there is no need for an FRT.

The KD-22 seems nice especially with the tough-22 mags. The gen3 at $1899 is far too much especially with all the other offerings coming out this year.

I'm not crazy about it either, really don't know why they couldn't use AR barrels considering it also uses AR style barrel nut. For the Siberian, I'm not sure. I hate Zhukov stocks but not a fan of their style of folder either. I wish they just put a rail section for AR buffer adapters. Reliability also remains to be seen. The SRV2 is not that great, but a cheap semi auto 308/6.5 CM would be awesome.

They drastically dropped the price as well, it's a far better offer now so I might get one when it comes out.

Personally my favourite sub 2k rifle is the KelTec RDB. Apply some medium vibra-tite to the screws and you're pretty golden.

If you find a 5 round AICS mag, they should fit, you just need to make sure they follow the true AICS pattern. I think MDT makes some but I never used 5 rounders.

It happened to me, I recently purchased the gun and took it to the range, my first two magazines it happened three times. It didn’t hit the floor, but came loose. Being my first pistol with a paddle release I figured it had to be me. I adjusted my grip and was conscious to not pull the trigger with the joint of my finger (I always have), the next three mags were flawless. I need more time with it, but I’m comfortable enough to carry it. The best I can describe it is it’s not a “hard” recoil, but a “fast” recoil if that makes sense? Regardless, it was an easy adjustment.

It's AICS pattern magazines, so as long as you use the ones with a tapper like I pointed out, I would think they should work. I've never seen 15-20 rounds AICS pattern mags though.

I have an X95, I made a new handguard for it, it's good but it has a few remnants from 90s design like the non free floated barrel and strange decision for swapping barrels than are just better on the MDR in my opinion. I have a bunch of pistol mags, that day I just happened to have forgotten them at home so I used the Lancer mags I always have in my ammo box.

It's already on sale on Cults3D, because UA-cam stupid rules I cannot link directly, even for an STL (apparently). Just search "SPHG" on Cults3D and you should be able to find it.

The thing is, my car is in the garage, and some of my crypto miners are also in there, meaning at -30C outside, garage is still a solid +10C. XD I know I could leave it outside on the street, but I don't like doing that when ammo is inside.
