Hi! They are pretty allround:) Just like Harbeth. Very clean and smooth midrange. Very in balance with bass and smooth highs. Nothing aggressive. I listen most to Jazz, Folk, and also some electronic. Yep, they have thin wall construstruction. 😊

Hi Kristian, the Spendors went to my father in law a few weeks later. The bass was a little heavy in my listeningroom with some albums. The Harbeths share the same glorious midrange. Spendor has a little more energy in top. And sounds -of coarse- way bigger :)

SP 100 could be a good choice for you i have one pair for ....24.Years 😀

Hi! Graham ls5/9 are really great. You should keep them;). Blumenhufers had a little too much energy in the horntweeter for my liking. Als the midrange is further a way ib comparing with BBC speakers. I now have Harbeth SHL5+ 40y and Graham LS8/1 only. And for short time to test: Castle Windsor Duke

Hi, maybe its my phone;). I think my hand is behind the mic, on the right. So a little "ear" effect I guess. Have to invest in a proper microphone...😅

@@tijngreen Yes, or place the phone on a stand in the ideal position for listening, but it's true that if part of your finger forms an ear on one side of the microphone, as you quite rightly say, the sound will inevitably be unbalanced! The ideal way of recording realistic Hifi sound is to have a camcorder or camera like the Canon EOS 7 with separate digital recording on a Beachtek dxa-slr pro mixer screwed under the camera and a microphone like the Audio Technica AT8024, I have this type of equipment. You'll get ultra-realistic sound that may or may not enhance the audio systems you're presenting! 😊

Thx! Spendors Classic 100 are bigger sounding. The bass a bit too much for me in my room. Mids were to die for;) The Grahams are very refined. Much like my Harbeths SHL5+, yet the Grahams let you hear more details in a nuanced way. Harbeth has fuller mid/low. Graham very natural because of the paper cone. and tight lows. Love them both:) Jean Marie Reynaud Abscisse Jubilée are also special:). See other videos. Happy listening.

The Chord sounds much fuller, more forward and detailed. But sometimes with jazz I prefer the Rose internal dac.

Hi, klopt ze geven best wat druk in het laag. Af en toe wel lekker, maar niet altijd. M'n Harbeths SHL5+ 40anni doen dit wat subtieler, maar klinken minder groots. Heb nu Spendor Classic 100 en zal hier ook nog filmpjes van uploaden.
