Harmonics can be found in the automotive, electrical and audio visual industry. So being a lover of all 3 sectors, I have all sorts of random projects that I'm going to get stuck into, and hopefully I can inspire, educate or entertain you with the videos I create.
Audio Excellence Achieved - L-Acoustics Speaker Upgrade
Experience the transformation from ordinary to extraordinary in "Audio Excellence Achieved - L-Acoustics Speaker Upgrade." We replaced speakers from Sonance, Gallo Acoustics, and Polk Audio with the power of L-Acoustics, delivering an audio experience that will blow you away.
We didn't stop there. To ensure our client's audio dreams came true, we brought in Richard from L-Acoustics. With the precision of their P1 processor, we measured and fine-tuned the system, matching the sonic signature of L-Acoustics to create the ultimate listening environment.
But this project is more than just a speaker upgrade. We inherited this smart home project, initially delivered by another AV company and a third-party Control4 programmer who couldn't quite master the art of a functional smart home.
Months of rigorous testing, performance enhancements, and reliability tweaks brought us to the final piece of the puzzle - delivering music in the garden for our client, a passionate music lover. In this video, you'll get a glimpse behind the scenes, including parts of the system not installed by us and an independent IT company managing the network.

Переглядів 755Рік тому
Following on from our planning we decided to slip in a video going over some of the equipment we have selected for a Control4 smart home. Every project has different requirements and budgets so equipment selected can vary massively. This is what I chose, and what it can do. The Best Portable Soldering Iron Setup Miniware TS80P Review ft. Solderm8 - B Electrical London
Well, L-Acoustics is great. BUT i don't think the speakers will look that great under that condition for a long time. (Rain, Dust, Sun...). They can withstand a lot of it, but is there no option to cover it, at least a little bit?
Wow that’s impressive! Do you know what angle that baffle is on the in ceiling speakers? Can’t see that listed on triads website.
The bearing wears overtime that’s why it don’t hold a bit
When a tech says “there’s loads of cables, not much I can do”. Lol
seems like someone who keeps his customer happy and knows his equipment, doesn't seem like he did anything wrong or lazy at all
Hey Ben, where can I contact you for a possible collab?
Hey, send me an email at collaborations@b-electrical.com
Hey nice video, my chisel bits are loose when chasing… I’m guessing doing what you done will fix this?
real or from china?
Real - From France 🇫🇷. L'Acoustics wouldn't come and calibrate fake speakers not supplied by them. That's how you know this is real.
just see so many fakes out there these days
@@abecoulter8550 Yeah, L'Acoustics found a load of fakes in an operation and had them destroyed. So hopefully a lot less fakes out there.
yea i saw that, but i carry Legit Kara 2s in my stock
Well organised setup you have there - very impressed. I just picked up the TS80P and that Fatmax storage box is great idea and will be picking one up instead of the typical smaller case. Thanks for the tip. Does that Ravpower powerbank supply a full 12v 3A? I have a few laptop Lenovo power banks around the house and they drop back to 9v 3A. Where are you getting your extra tips from in the UK or are you importing them? I will either get the same tip as yours or the BC02.
Just imagine one living house has more ethernet cables & communication than my whole office building
If you know, you know
Is this controlled with a HomeWorks system? Do the DMX lights allow for a tunable white?
Yes this is Homeworks QS. You can put tuneable white into Lutron DMX but you will have to mix the whites yourself with individual sliders - there is no kelvin slider.
So u dont haft to hook up speaker wow amazing
doja skank
Finding exactly where it should go, verifying there isnt a stud in wall. Cutting out the opening. Running wire to speaker. The mounting method is handy but this is generaly the part that is the quickest. Save 15 min on the overall project.
So now what?
Subscribe and you'll see 😎
Wow, what an amazing audio setup!
Hi m8 love the work can you give me some advice please?? I have just done my level 3 in electrician installation and want to get into the smart home technology which avenue would be the best way?? And any course's you can Recommend please
This is a great video, and I appreciate you highlighting just how easy he's are to install. Insert in hole, push push push push, and then on to the next one! I look forward to seeing more of these video types from you guys. Also, bro, how tall are you?!?!?!?! I've never seen someone just reach above them to put speakers in the ceiling!
I appreciate that bro, immensely. 🤣 It's a low ceiling, 2.2m or something, I'm only 5ft10. Makes life easy at the office 😎
Great job! By the way, is it possible at all to replace a key chuck on an ordinary drill with a SDS Chuck?
Very nice build; congrats. What cameras are you using, please? These devices look like the x20 Luma but I did not catch your narrated description. Do you find that the AI in the cameras provides accurate human detection during dark at a distance for confident perimeter protection? Thank you
Cheers Bradley, we used Dahua AI cameras, and yeah they were really good mate, during testing performed very well and gave me confidence.
Great video mate 👌🏻
Top quality as always Ben 👍🏻🙌
Very enjoyable series mate. Great work. 🙌
Glad you enjoyed it!
Different coloured Cat cables, why? Should I use Cat5, 6 or 7?
What trousers you rocking ?! Nice video bro 🤙
Thanks mate, they're actually some DeWalts, nice and slim. Follow me on instagram, I'll put the model up later so you can grab a pair if you want
Sounds like the designers are short on details. Wonder who will be blamed if things are missing on completion?
We all worked together to look our for the project as a whole and collectively, everything met the clients expectation on completion which was the main thing.
Do the recordings from the Chime save to the NVR?
Hey Kris, Yes you can add the Chime Doorbell to the NVR like a normal IP camera to save footage to the local hard drive.
Would you need a minimum broadband speed to have a smoothly running smart home?
Hi Kris, it all depends on the size and complexity of the smart home. The minimum speed required for an entry level smart home with SD video is approx 5-25mbps.
👌
Do you have a Link for the Kit please mate. Mines Fooked and needs fixing ASAP.
I like how organized you are. You also clearly demonstrated the coolest part of this solder, being powered by USB Type-C power bank.
Glad it was helpful!
Nice I need that set up always used a gas one when I was working on trucks could never get the temperature right
You got that right!
@@HarmonicFrequencyUK got one from JMM Solutions slots on to my tool batteries loving it
Greetings from Sydney, Australia. YT recommended this video, and lo and behold you mention Nick. I'm a loiterer on his whatsapp chat group. I've subbed and will keep watching. Cheers
Cheers Jim!
Nice one Ben..seems someone didn’t know what they were doing there, hope all is good 👍🏻
great content
Thank you!
I think two people have done it, one at either end. Man how they didn't blow them though?!
Ahh good point! I’m not sure, but I definitely want to recreate this scenario in the office and work out exactly how they were working, especially when some were reverse polarity?! They were like this for years!
@@HarmonicFrequencyUK must be the internals on those fittings that allowed the survival. We all know of a few brands that don't on reverse
Audio was suboptimal for me. I could not get what you said on the power or output current ("25....."?). Please maybe consider reducing or dropping the background music, use a microphone closer to your mouth and suppress environmental noise while handling stuff as it was often covering your voice. Keep up with the great work!
Tidy job Ben, all the best to you and yours for Xmas..good to see you back 👍🏻
Nice to se you back buddy
Thanks mate
Thanks to you, I was able to remove a broken drill bit from a DeWALT D25263 rotary hammer drill. I really appreciate it.
Glad its been of use!
is the bit having a little bit of woubbe normal? i just bought mine and i thought its broken but i see yours have a bit of wobble too .
Yes a bit of play is normal
Excellent, clear and concise video on a chuck repair - like your style
Thanks Kim
Were can you buy these parts
