Your right brother I believe you have true gems coz I been collecting the same in wa from Perth to Norseman we do have diamonds and gem s they just trying to keep it from the rest of us
I found the same stuff in arizona. I believe it to br lamporites with diamonds inside.
Nice 👍 test it with a diamond selector and a moisinite testers to see if it is a diamond and with a uv light to see the color of the element it is?
👍👍👍
Hey mate I’m in south Western Australia. I’m very interested in looking for my own gems. Any chance you could point me in the right direction 😊
The only people who believe me here is the government
Not a diamond bro
I have some of these best thing you can do is teach. For people need you
Como fazer esse metal detector?? Pode passar o projeto?.. neumargold@gmail.com
Excelente gostei ! Sucesso Sempre!👍👍
@Sarah-Jayne Brown: When I was working for a diamond exploration company, a soil sample I was examining under the microscope produced a beautiful cubic diamond from near Geraldton! I had never found a cubic diamond before as most of the diamonds recovered in soil samples were either octahedral, dodecahedral or combinations of these two crystalline diamonds. The exact area was never revealed as diamond exploration companies never revealed the exact spot where the samples were taken...
Lol it's concrete
I find this stuff in Geraldton WA! I have a secret spot no one knows about where i crack rocks open to find cool stones. Do you find better stones the deeper you dig? I dont know anything about them
Do you have an exact location of where you found these?
Do a sg test you will find out exactly what it is after.
Here is some of herderlite are there .
I bet that one came from the kiln too mate hahahaha..your onto something. I've been doing a bit and found nothing like that ....yet Got to remember most of the goodies are hiding under ferrocrete and the paleo shores dont have that.
Hey mate...scratch test? scratch it with quarts, then diamond ring. if its in the middle its either topaz or sapphire.
Gday bud..fellow fossicker here...paleo shoreline paying off. Tried those green buggers in natural light and then incandescent light? Might well be what I'm after....Chrysoberyl and more to the point Alexanderite. Have you scratch tested any? They don't look like they have traveled far either...straight out of the Busso foot hills and into the sand. Please drop me a line as I have a similar prospect Nannup way with all the Alexanderite precursors, as well as sapphire and bloody ruby. We were once connected to India and they are loaded with gems. Now have a look at their geology in southern India...same as ours almost to the letter...
Scotty any chance you could point me in the right direction, with camping close by wouldn’t be till the hordes finished holiday lol,
Apna no do bhi
Uum I think that's a quartz
Can't find the location of this place help
superb
Hiya Naithan. I found a similar looking thing on the beach on a remote WA beach. Wonder if its anything interesting ? :) Would you mind If Imake a short vid as you've done and send you a link to it ? I'd be interested in what you think. I think I might have a small lump of kimberlite that I picked up off the floor in Karratha too.The rock is flattish and about the size of a sunglass lens, It's got a glassy nodule sticking out of it about 5mm wide. The rock has eroded leaving a little dome. There's a few little balls of glassy stuff visible in the rock too. Had it for years sat in a bag since I collected a load of stones along the WA coast travelling 25 years ago. :)
Looks like green adventure
This type of stone I have what I have to do...! My email id lawrance 795@gmail.com
good stones very nice thanks for the Video
any body's opinion and thoughts on identifying this rock is welcome and very much appreciated thank you.
thank you
Hey mate, I think it is jadeite!!! Ripper find
Marcrussophotography if it is Jadeite?
Jadeite???
Very nice mate!!!!
Marcrussophotography thank you
Marcrussophotography # have a look at one of the latest videos i have put up. it is the one with the magnification glass and I am %90 shure it is Jadeite???
You're welcome, glad to see your enthusiasm. If I happen to find more than I can handle I'll gladly invite you out to prospect. It's hard to find motivated enthusiastic people anymore
usrtyse # I only try. most think I am a crazy idiot! but they are not prospectors and have not done the research on geology and government exploration reports that I have. but unfortunately for me the system is full of greed over here and the people who are sposed to help you? lie deceive and steel anyone's hard work and research from the bottom to the top. and the prospectors always the loser here thus hence why I have shown the world the location on my instagram profile naithanwarnock. for i am not greedy and as one? I stand alone!
usrtyse # whould love to if I can afford it :) you should see me at gold prospecting! anytime you are in Australia and looking to prospect look me up. emails natowarnock@gmail.com
Naithan Warnock Thank you very much for the invite.
usrtyse # you are welcome anytime :) check out one of the latest videos i have put up. I am %90 shure it is Jadeite? it's the video with the magnification glass
Hey mate! Did you find this beauty in the southwest WA?
Marcrussophotography # yes I did. have a look at my instagram profile naithanwarnock
Naithan Warnock thanks for the quick reply. Such a beautiful piece ! I'm finding lots of nice stuff in the Avon valley at the moment. See my vid with the terminated crystal points!
Naithan Warnock love to know where you find these but I don't expect you to say. I can only dream of finding something like that
all found in the same spot on my instagram profile
Have you found any more of these?
Lamproite, is more commonly found in Australia from my understanding (Im no expert). Ecoglites (nodules torn from the earth's mantle) are also found in lamproites, similar to kimberlite. Diamond bearing kimberlites are often olivine (peridot) rich. You should also be finding a fair amount of garnets in areas of moving water in the area in question. Lamproites, are often found under a thin layer of soil that is sometimes exposed in animal diggings or push up from the surrounding landscapes forming towers of often fragmented rock.
usrtyse # I had the department of mines and petroleum and suzan stocklmayer inspect the rocks and after they found the location they said it was illegal dumping from Alcoa's kilm?
usrtyse # the department of mines and petroleum said that they were lamproites
Naithan Warnock Im not sure if it's the same for lamproites but for kimberlite, you can test it by putting 10% dilute hydrochloric acid on the rock, it will fizz if it is kimberlite. Maybe try the same for your rocks in question. I doubt anything from a kiln would have the same reaction.
That bigger"glass" has traveled and the other coloured species dont look as though they have...and they came from the same kiln right...Dont tell them where you got them, their full of shit.
ModernProspector, Lamproite is also the main rock type in the famous Crater of Diamonds in Arkansas where one can look for diamonds. The entrance fee is US$8 and, any diamonds you find, you can keep. Interestingly enough, the diamonds found there are similar in colour to the Argyle diamonds!
I would seek a second opinion, a few of those stones look very close to eclogite. Another tell tale sign of kimberlite is rocks jacketed with iron. Also, check for "yellow ground" with blue to blue-grey soil/clay underneath. Look for circular depressions surrounded by a white ring, these circular depressions often hold water in the rainy months. Another great sign is rounded rocks or boulders in an area that doesn't have flowing water. If this doesn't help check out diamondprospector.webs.com/index.htm I know this is for the US and not Australia the same principles still apply.
usrtyse # have a look at my instagram profile naithanwarnock
Naithan Warnock I live here in the states and Im heading out to Wyoming prospecting. I'll gather up some lamproite and send you some pictures to compare if you haven't positively identified your rocks by then.
usrtyse # thank you very much :) that whould be fantastic for me to compare the system. very mutch apreashiated thank you
