    Every youtuber has uploaded a Mac version of this app. I am so glad that you made a video with the iPhone app. I just bought the app yesterday and was looking into tutorials but could only find Mac ones online but thanks to this video now I know a lot about this app. My previous app of choice was Todoist but that was becoming a bit overwhelming and I wanted to use something simple with a clean UI and I found this app. The best part is that it is one time payment and not a subscription model.

      Thanks so much for watching and for letting me know. I made this video a couple of years ago now for the exact reason I couldn’t find an iPhone tutorial at the time (which annoyed me). I’m shocked that it sounds like more people haven’t done an iPhone version even two years later. I still use this app every day and still love using it. Yes definitely love it’s not a subscription model too. The iPhone and the Mac app are both great. :) Thanks. 🙏🏻

    Bro, a good detailed video......but should i get this stand necessarily or a ESR magsafe wallet stand would do? I just want to watch videos on desk on standby😊

    • @jondeanedits
      @jondeanedits 22 дні тому

      Thanks for watching and commenting. If it’s just a case of watching videos on your phone and maybe holding credit cards then the wallet stand might do. Although the hinge on the MOFT allows for almost unlimited angle changes of the phone…whereas the ESR wallet stand won’t allow as much flexibility when it comes to angles. Also the tripod part of the moft increases the height of the phone too which might be an advantage. Since making this video moft have released a wallet version too which is around £50 I think. Tough decision but I have a feeling you’d be happier with the moft stand as it offers great versatility and angle flexibility. Hope that helps.

      @jondeanedits Місяць тому

      Thanks for commenting. I’m not 100% sure whether you’d definitely need a MagSafe case but I would to be honest. Especially if the bare 13 magnet is weak. I doubt it would hold very well if you had a non MagSafe case.

    Great Video and you covered all information i need to make my buying decision! Thanks for that. But I am a bit confused about the weight… are you sure it just weighs 8.8g? Also the phone ip15pro + moft tripod is surely heavier than a deck of cards. 8:51 Would appreciate if you can check that. Cheers

    • @jondeanedits
      @jondeanedits Місяць тому

      Apologies for the delay in reply. Needed to find the time to check everything. I have to apologise. I have got all the weights wrong. You’re the only person to point it out…so appreciate that. Somehow I’ve added a point in the weights. According to my re measurements the weight should be 289G where for some reason I put 28.9G…and where I said 8.8g it should be 88g. So definitely don’t go by those comparisons either. I will have to see if I can remove this whole section from the video.

      Thanks for watching. Yes unfortunately it does wobble a bit. I was filming my son earlier with the tripod on a table. If he tapped the table the tripod would wobble the phone. I guess it might be slightly better if you weigh it down with something like keys underneath but I suspect it would still wobble though.

      Hi. Thanks for watching. It’s a good 9 months old and still going strong. Used it every day all day on my phone. The hinge still feels strong - as does the magnets. Slight material fraying around the rim but otherwise still very good. There’s a wallet and tripod version that has just been released which looks great. Love it in short and would still recommend. Hey Jon ! I am really interested in buying this product with the card holder , but I have an iPhone 13 mini , do you think it will still fit ? Thank you for the review btw 😉

    • @jondeanedits
      @jondeanedits 2 місяці тому

      Thanks for watching. :) it’s a tricky one. The MOFT website says iPhone 13 and doesn’t mention the mini. It’s probably best to try emailing MOFT and see what they say. However I asked ChatGPT and it said yes it will fit initially then I asked if the back is long enough and it said: “The iPhone 13 mini has a smaller size compared to other iPhone models, and the MOFT Snap tripod is designed to work with various iPhones, primarily those with MagSafe. However, given the smaller surface area of the iPhone 13 mini's back, the fit might be less stable compared to larger iPhones. The main concern is whether the tripod's magnetic base has enough contact area to securely hold the iPhone 13 mini. While it will attach, the smaller size of the iPhone 13 mini could lead to a less secure or balanced fit, especially if the phone is positioned at certain angles. If you're planning to use the MOFT Snap tripod with an iPhone 13 mini, it should work, but be mindful of the stability and how securely it holds the phone during use.” So it sounds like it probably will but might be worth checking with Moft first.

Absolutely ridiculous for the cost of these machines. Some people seem to have had a problem with the M2 chip and long term battery life. This however, is the M1 so we shall see. Hi thanks for watching and commenting. Unfortunately the moft is definitely not strong enough to stick to metal. Just tested it a few times the magnets at the back of the moft are just not strong enough to support carrying the phone. I haven’t got one but keep seeing adverts for MagBak which holds to metal by the look of it. Here’s a link: magbak.com/products/magbak-for-iphone-15-series

      @@jondeanedits thanks for reply! I ordered the moft because of you, I’ll never trust on sponsored videos or influencer that get products “for free”, my only concern just like you is “how long is gonna be sturdy and starts wobbling”, only time will tell us.

    Is it possible to put the iPhone perpendicular to the bottom surface (for taking pictures)? Or the tripod is always slightly leaning?

    • @jondeanedits
      @jondeanedits 7 місяців тому

      If I understood you correctly yes you can. As long as you weigh the stand down with something you can get the phone to look flat down at the surface so you can take a photo. :) if you weigh the tripod down then it shouldn’t lean.

    In the future, may I suggest that you plot a graph of Battery Percentage (y-axis) versus Time (x-axis) where the values of Safari and Chrome are both plotted on the same graph? This is to give better clarity for the comparison. Very informative content regardless and keep it up!

    Which phone model did you use for this? I keep wondering if the 14 pro max is too heavy for the stand.

    • @jondeanedits
      @jondeanedits 8 місяців тому

      I have an iPhone 15 Pro (not a Max). It’s hard to say but I’m pretty sure it would still be for fine for a 14 Pro Max. Just looked on their website and there is an option to buy a 14 Pro Max case on the same page with the tripod. So on that basis I suspect it would be completely fine with the weight as they are encouraging people to buy a case too. :)

    Do you think the 16 inch would be worth it for the battery alone I can get one around 300 dollars more

    • @jondeanedits
      @jondeanedits 9 місяців тому

      Possibly. Depends on your needs though.. I hear the battery is better in that. Is heavier and bigger obviously. I have the power brick I mentioned in this video and find that keeps me going a lot longer. The brick has been really good.

    Does the power bank charge the phone though the tripod when it is fully open and extended, rather than laid flat? It seems as though the thickness between the power bank and the phone would be reduced in this way.

    • @jondeanedits
      @jondeanedits 9 місяців тому

      Good question…one I didn’t think of. Have just tried a MagSafe power bank with the tripod fully open and extended… it didn’t work for me. Also due to the length of my power bank it was not going to sit flush on the back due to the hinge but no charge was coming through no. Thanks for watching and asking. 👌🏻

      It’s a tough one to recommend a single plugin. I use them all still and still love them. I feel like I have enough of them now to be really creative and multiple plugins now form one powerful toolset if you know what I mean. I would say my most used is mTuber2…but everyone is different. Have you got your eye on any in particular? :)

    Which task manager should I use? I’m confused which one to use between todoist, things, Ticktick and reminders. I’m currently using Todoist and I like the calendar integration and natural language capture and duration feature. However the UI I don’t like and I wish I can have calendar view in it. I’ve tried Ticktick which doesn’t support iPad and doesn’t have recurring tasks with an option to chose start of week to be not Monday. I like reminders app very much the UI and I like Apple however no calendar view and no easy capture. Most of the time I’m convincing myself that it should be enough for me and why pay for any other app. (My Mac cannot have latest version) What’s the hype about things. I feel it’s so much similar to reminders and it misses so many features after reading about it. Requirement: I do prefer calendar view however I can live without it. I do use it for personal and work. I do get many tasks per day and I need to register them while speaking to people. I don’t have projects, I just work on which tasks that are most urgent or which are quickest or if it’s a deep time block. My day doesn’t go as planned 90% of the time and I keep moving my tasks around in days.
