Adjust your seating position so you're closer to the wheel, you'll be able to turn better. Cool down your brakes before you stop. Applying the parking brake when your brakes are that hot can cause pad material to melt onto the rotors.

@@livinwithgeo I made the same mistakes when I first started driving. You'll be safer with better driving position and you'll save money by not smelting pad material to your rotors 🙂
