DIY EASY Coffee and Storage Table using 3D Printed Joinery - How to Make #3DPrinting #Maker #DIY
I needed a useful coffee table that could double as a storage table as well. I don’t have a lot of tools and I am on a tight budget. All I have is a 3D printer which I bought during my undergraduate years. Made everything in the confines of my small studio apartment. Also, I have used shape grammar so that the 3D printed joinery are all modular and stackable.

wow 👍
How strong the 3d printed joints are?
Can't really expect much from a desktop printer but as long as you print with PLA+ or stronger materials and use the "grain" of the prints to your advantage, it is very durable.
Nice job, however I wouldn't rely on FDM printer for real world furniture project.
Thank you! May I know why you wouldn't rely on FDM Printers for real world furniture?
Five-month late response from someone else... I think he is maybe just speaking on FDMs lower layer to layer strength compared to SLA. I think its fine for something like that especially since it wouldn't be that hard to change a part out if one broke due to the design. NIce Work!
Are the STL's available? This is really cool.
It is now available on Thingiverse. www.thingiverse.com/thing:4100056. If you would like to adjust, modify, customize the model, it is available on www.cgtrader.com/.../other/1-x-4-furniture-joinery
Stedi boi. Hahaha
Nang pandei...
love it but are you talking printed as in the masks to cut out or 3D in the traditional sense in a 3D oven which then produces a 3D plastic model? www.ultrimaxstore.com/?
Nice boyyyy
Thank you man!
