Thank you! As much as my wallet doesn't like all of the add-ons, it does allow for a lot of creative freedom! I haven't been to an Olive Garden in so long...I wonder how it is now. But yeah. Longwood Gardens is a huge tourist thing here. Philadelphia is America's garden capital and Longwood is definitely one of the more popular ones.

Sorry for how long it's taking for me to get back. I wanted to really respond to your comment as a whole. It’s interesting that you say that the memory planning community has created this bubble. And I think I see what you mean in that it’s a community that doesn’t really have reach, it didn’t really incorporate things from other communities because all you really need is a sticker kit and your planner. Whereas bullet journal/non-sticker dedicated planners dabble in stamping, painting, scrapbooking, journaling stickers. So the pathways between those communities was a bit more freeflowing like you said. Yeah. From my viewpoint, this style only really took off to the degree that it did around the COVID times. Which funny enough is when I started to see it. I remember spying on people during the time, being a little judgmental (mostly at the cost) and a little jealous. I’m seeing some changes in the clipart side of the community too. I have seen some shops develop journal kits (Plannerface is one I can think off) and I think I saw that one of the shops (I think it’s Plan With Me Stickers) is doing like “kiss-cut” quote overlays. (If they’ve always been a thing, I am wrong, but I think maybe there more popular now?). It’s going to be so interesting to see where this type of memory planning goes in the future. I’ve heard that bows were a thing and then the community moved onto florals and now I think we’re entering the journaling side. I am curious if we will see a return to the more simple spreads, but less structured. Like are we going to see the reduction of foiled full boxes as we know them now. Are they going to be the standard rectangle shape? Will we start seeing more foiled deco kits like Sadie’s has now? I don’t think the standard vertical sticker kits are going to go away any time soon, but I wonder if they will dramatically change/evolve. (Also don't feel the need to respond to my long comment. I think as I type. I think I want to continue to talk about this so to have these notes will be helpful.)

@@phamerina.planning I think for the community to not get “bored” of things, there’s no other choice but to evolve. I’m pretty sure the weekly kits will stay for awhile. That in itself already evolved. Before most shops only offered 8 boxes. Now, most of the shops offer 9 and some clip arts eve offer more. Bows were definitely a thing back then and I can even show you my stack of bow stickers 😂. There’s definitely room to grow and it will be interesting to see where it leads us.

It's such a pretty kit. The only thing is I wish I grabbed the journal kit, but we live with the decisions our past self make. It's a bop of a song. I'm pretty sure it's the unofficial theme for September.

It was my only option for this kit. If they didn't offer it in holo, I would have begged them to make one for me.

I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking about the cost aspect. Great minds think alike. I asked Ceda before she went on her hiatus to bring them to the shop because I really like how she designed them. I might have to give in to the peer pressure of getting a pair of crocs.

It's so funny that I wasn't really doing this type of memory planning before. It's nice and easy to do. I didn't even realize that I was using the headers as footers. It's just easier for me to line up my boxes up from the bottom rather than the top, so that's why I did that.

I see what you mean. I always admire those bujo spreads that don't have any boxes or columns, but every time I try one, I miss my structured weekly style. There's something about the lack of structure that makes like full on journaling a struggle for me too.

@@phamerina.planning I’d love to share , but I memory plan with photos of my family’s , so for that reason I don’t , I print my photos on a HP Sprocket printer , my older Granddaughters love looking through it💞I am blessed with 4 amazing adult children and 8 gorgeous grandchildren, the youngest are twins, and I look after them every Wednesday, which is such a priviledge😍 They are 3 years old, I feel so blessed to have my gorgeous family’s and I’m sure my memory diaries will be a lovely keepsake in the future 😍 have a great week xx

That's totally cool! I get what desire to keep things private. I do that photo memories in my bujo. That's amazing that you are watching your grandkids. I know my mom loves watching Bub and steals him every chance she can.

Thanks!!!! I think that's a good way to think about this spread. I know that it's mostly a "in the moment" feeling, so the intensity of it should fade with time. One of my work goals is to finally get these docs in the new format by mid-next year. Fingers crossed that it happens.

Thank you! I know one of the things I'm trying to work on in general is explaining things better so I'm glad that mine was sufficient. I have learned from this experience on how to better implement it in the coil. It just takes a few extra snips to get the washi to want to go between the coils.

Your surprise regarding why you wondered why it took so long for sticker shops to cater to bullet journalling is very interesting. Part of me wonders if it's because I think there might be a larger pool looking to use stickers for their bullet journal. I know for me (and regarding social media), back in like 2020, it seemed that if you have artistic ability, you get more spotlight (and I'm speaking from my own experience and in large generalizations). Like there was a need to be able to draw everything for your bullet journal back then. So now that the impression that you need to use your own artistic skill in your bujo has died down, are people more comfortable with using stickers in their bujo?

Thank you! I would say that the monthly script section is my second favorite part of this spread. I really wanted to make sure that I used that polaroid so that's probably way I made sure that it was a little extra.

I love how you've been decorating your journals and I have been trying to use more of my kit leftovers in my bullet journal. But for me, there's like this weird mental thing where I have always seen my bullet journal as a like non-sticker space so when I try to sit down and do stickers more regularly, it doesn't always turn out so cute. That's so awesome that you have been able to adapt these kinds of kits to your planning style. And it's definitely starting to look a like a best of both worlds situation for a lot of people. To be frank, the other type of planning is more of an expressive outlet rather than a planning outlet. Kinda like your scripture writing I guess. I have only been using the sticker kits this year and I've already gone back to those and flipped through them and get inspired by what past Kat did or realized that there's something I wanted to try again in a different style. Hopefully next year Kat will still feel the same because I already have kits for next year when I should have been better.

You know what's so weird is that the UA-cam app kept telling me there was a comment but never showed me one. And the studio app did show any comments and I never got an email notification until this one. 😮 I'm sorry that it never showed up for some reason. I blame youtubes inner workings. I'm sure it was insightful! I know I can be long-winded when I have a lot to say one something

@@itsjustkristine490 I guess you're right about the non-foiled kits. I guess I keep comparing them to the foiled ones and I can't. It's like apples to oranges. And you're definitely right about that spread. That is the one where I started down that path to defining my sidebar style.

@@Planwithcsrbd Thank you! That week was a good spread too! My friend Kristine pointed out that week was a turning point for my sidebars and that's totally true. I think this week was where I started to trend in the direction of my sidebar style. And it's a gorgeous purple spread.

I think the best thing is to not compare them I guess, which I know is hard. It's all about mindset is what this taught me. If I didn't have expectations, there would be a little voice in the back of my head nagging me about how it's not what I wanted. There was a certain satisfaction with doing this hodge podge spread and using all these stickers I've been holding on to.

There are definitely some kits where I have way too many of the add-ons and have intentions of using them, but never do! I think if you're willing to let them go for a significant discount, someone is willing to buy them, especially if it's to supplement a kit that they already have.

I feel that struggle. I told myself not to buy anymore fall kits and then she releases Autumn Night. It's an exercise in will power and remembering you can only use so many kits in a year.

@@lustrousplans thanks! I hope to do Crisp justice since I know you're aware 🙈🤭 but Crisp is such a good take on the fall season. I'm excited for the first real fall kit to be this color palette. What's weird about like the word carnival though is that I think in fall we call them fair/festival up here in the north. Like it's still the same thing, but we use a different word for them.

I know. I just need the weather to cooperate and be crisp and be fall already. There is so much good fall art so I need to stick to what I got since I too have all my fall kits this year too!

I almost went with silver but I opted to go with light gold to call to the fact that it's to celebrate my engagement. I do think silver is the best foil option though. I have not partake in any fall beverages yet, but it's a priority for next week.
