So many good times 💚🖤💚🖤💚🤘
THIS PERFORMANCE IS AMAZING!
The 90’s was the last decade that mattered. Thank you Pete.
There are few things more stupid than a mosh pit.
Sean Yseult kicking ass on bass!!!
This was the first time I got to see White Zombie.
Beautiful 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hey there, were you at the shows? Is this your footage? I had a band called Winkler that opened for Snapcase at the Icon in 94 and I’m writing a story about this time and am hoping beyond hope there is footage of Winkler.
I was at this show!!!!
Mike Bouquard and John Quinn were here.
I was there bro
I saw them 13 days later in NYC. I wish I could find footage of that show. I'd settle for just a setlist at this point.
I believe these guys aren't serious
30 years ago today!
Fuck, I miss this band.
I've been looking for a video of Josh playing Black No. 1 and Unsuccessfully Coping for some time now, I really want to play his parts on piano for those songs, thanks for this!
Back to business
Rumour has it that the band changed drummers and pete never had to look back again 😅
So raw
This gave birth to recycled waste, believe me Buffalo.
🔥MORBID ANGEL🔥🤘🏻👹🤘🏻🔥🔥🔥
More footage of Josh in this thing than in all of their music videos combined, and not just the hand cameos!
King Josh
Rob sounds like dog shit
Not the Icon ...this show was at Club 652 on S.Ogden

Great upload! Those were the days man. These guys would rock the house with a 2 hour set like this every night! I'd give anything to go back and see one of these shows again!
Where are chris naab & jeffrey allen in this video?
Prabob
Literally me 😳🙈☺️
What venue was this?
This is from my country Australia. In 1985 I was only 10 yrs old when I watch this.
Dude! Even they even played some Carnivore! This would have been awesome to witness first hand.
2-3 years before the audience goth crowded by female goth..😊
It's hard enough making is as a band. GWAR was seminal, and bullshit bands copy them to this day. Like Rodney, they got no respect! Killer band . Salaminizer
💚
This is GOLD. Or, more apropos, GREEN. GodDAMNit I miss being that close to Josh and sticking a lit cigarette in his mouth every now & then. Cherry-side out, of course. Not that he wpuld have noticed, because he used to maintain an Ozzy-level state of hiiiiiiigh all the time.
Back whan Vince could actually deliver Vocally.
Seen them in Saratoga springs b4 or after that show... I'm 59... but I feel as young as I was then .. hearing them and seeing this vid.... T. O .N.. 🖤
🙋Modern Wicca is not the same as the ancient pagans or ancient witchcraft the Ancients never called themselves wiccans or performed a threefold law that wasn't a part of the ancient lures and the threefold law is very Christian like do on to others as you would do on to yourself nor did they blend all the gods and goddesses together. There's a lot of about Wicca that has nothing to do with the ancient Witchcraft or paganism its more akin to new age blending everything together and changing and watering it down and personalize it.✌
Who cares, dumbass idiot
Was this before or after TON opened for NIN on the Self Destruct tour?
I saw them open for NIN on the Self Destruct Tour April of 94. I wanna say this is after that, but I'm not sure.
Wow! Peter has got some long legs! And yeh a friend of mine showed me some of his Playgirl pics online, so don't go there, LoL
I love the songs on this album. The one's on the following albums, not so much.
Was this the tour with monster magnet?
Hello... STICK opened this show at the ICON for L.O.A. & TYPE O NEGATIVE... Do you also have thier SET as well by chance??? Thanks!!! Matt
HELLO.... STICK opened this show for L.O.A. & TYPE O NEGATIVE.... Do you have their set by chance? Thanks!
These guys jammed so fucking hard back then. The whole band was so goddamn gnarly it was unreal.
Nice show.
Very rare amazing view on Josh! He used to have Roland A50 as a main instrument already... and then you can see Emax SE1 above it = later switched for Yamaha DX-7 with Kuzweil K2000 on his left side (You can nicely see it on Bizzare Festival 99 etc.). I must say what a musican he was. His instrumentalism, stage performing, profesionality in studio work... or even those beautiful sounds, perfectly programmed to fit the final Type O sound. The BIG Respect to MR. Silver and his bandmates! I love this band!
he makes keyboard look so badass
I love when synth nerds invade type O videos to explain their equipment. Did they ever say what their drum machine they used for October Rust-LIKM?
@@cranklabexplosion-labcentr8245 Hi. I will try to answer your question. Sorry for my English, I’m not native speaker. I’m not sure but I read somewhere that they used Roland R8. JOSH probably recorded JOHNNY’s drum kit. Then he created samples and used them with a drum machine. So there is no specific library of TYPE O drum sounds that you can download. JOSH was a musical genius in my opinion. Every sound he used was very uniqe. It is hard to sample any of it. It´s not like you buy old Roland A50 or Yamaha DX7 and choose the sound of "no. 63" and wuala, you have a choir of TYPE O song. No. He created layers (combinations) with different EQ settings and these were used from many sources. On the left side at the bottom he got a huge double rack (on the top of it you can see the case and Kurzweil K2000) with many different devices (Korg M1R, E-max Rack SE, Ensoniq Mirage DMS8, Akai Z4 etc). I’ve been looking for his distorted organ sound (in song Xero Tolerance) for so long. I went throught so many new modern libraries and finaly found an old E-MU Emax library a few years ago and there was a very similar sound but still not 100% the same. I‘ve used it as VST plugin over Midi and I abolutely love it. Another example, the last TYPE O tour in fall 2009, JOSH was replaced with Scott Warren due to his EMT studies. And don’t get me wrong, Scott is an excellent musician. But it was so obvious that JOSH was not on stage. I found those sounds so pathetic and sometimes they even made me angry. When you hear Black nr. 1, Gravity or Love you to death (LYTD) … you want to hear those beautifully arranged sounds of Mr. SILVER. That amazing organ, choir or bell-rain = sound used live when performing LYTD. Or distorted pads used to support guitars… to make the final live sound so raw and thick. Even JOSH said in an interview that he still uses the old equipment to bring the same sounds we hear on the albums because it’s hard to replace it with something else. I have a tons of a plugins in my DAW, literally hundreds of GB. And of course, they are beautiful and useful. But… it is still very hard to get Type O sound out of it. It’s close but not the same. I always miss that cherry on the top. That’s why I have so much respect for Mr. SILVER for his work and would “kill” to listen to some podcast with him in person to get answers to all those things we can only argue about. It’s good to know that just as TYPE O is absolutely iconic in the metal genre, so are the keyboard arrangements. JOSH was very important to PETER, to translate his ideas to the final product that we all enjoy listening to every day. It was such a powerful combo. Respect!
MORBID ANGEL !!! 🤘👹🤘🔥🔥🔥
This is amazing! Rare to see live vids of TON pre October Rust. Thanks for the upload!
