Handled that dead stick like a pro. Nice flying plane.
Maybe you should recheck your aileron throws/ATV along with the length of your pushrods and make sure they are equal then, you may have to add differential to improve the quality and appearance of your rolls. Just my observation to help enhance your pattern experience.

I just did an unboxing video on this plane.. BUT I NEED THAT AFTERBURNER NOW! Was it easy to install?
Yea it's not too bad use a rod to pull the wire up from and they send a bunch of different size motor clamps in the universal kit well worth the 20 bucks vs other companies charging triple that amount

Use to have a nitro extra 300 with retractable landing gear and it was the most fun plane I ever flew . Many do not realize just how much a fully symmetrical wing changes your flight . Great flight !

Is the with reflex on or did he already learn to fly on his own? I got the ranger 1220mm rtf and the aeroscout s2 1.1m but haven't had a maiden. I hurt my back so I'm outta work for a min. Can I do it without simulator?
Yes this is with safe mode on he comes out here an there an flies off safe on the simulatior..and yes both of those models are very easy to fly in real life on safe just take you time coming off make sure your straight level and heading away from yourself when you turn safe off so you don't get disoriented if something happens or you get nervous just flick it back on

Thanks brother he's doing very good only had about 10 flights on a little s cub then maybe 6 or 7 on this plane he's been doing great especially in the 15mph winds we had today
Interesting mounting spot for the runcam. How did you mount it on the tail like that ?
I took some paint off the flat spot on it and hot glued a gopro mount onto it
I have questions about this. So I tried this with a viper 70 and on 8s I was only able to get like 130 mph in an incredible dive. Did you use the stock motor? What esc and timing did you use? And what batteries?
Also… you should show us the gps when you’re claiming crazy speeds :)
I used stock fms motor with a freewing 8s esc that they use in there 8s rigs with 15% timing

Ah ok ya I used a flyfun v5 esc. I had active freewheel enabled and I think my timing was set at 12. I was having a little too much voltage drop on 15. But I wasn’t using very big batteries. What batteries were you using? I’m just not sure how you got 150 mph in level flight when I barely broke 130 in a 1000 ft dive
