1v1 is like mma you need to fill the wholes in your kit that or have one very good asset to it either one is fine mine is my ground play is amazing but when you have one essential thing that you really need gone it hinders you alot

I thought i would give some commentary to your gameplay. You need to work on your decision making skills. Great example 0:42 You are not stopping him from possession, your stopping him from scoring, you should not go after ball you go down mid use the pads to get back to block his shot. 0:46 When you go for a dripple depending on your dominant side try to angle to a direction to see him biggest tip in 1v1 when ball in on top of your car be greedy make him think the slower you go the more you can speed into the ball for a good flick the main thing you want to do there is get him to flip challenge and go for something like a low 50. 0:53 Putting yourself out of position is fine at times as long as you capitalize on the risk factor of the play you see he's out of position but you go after the ball you know he recovered with zero boost there is a thing call boost priority, ball priority but there is also priority with his car. There you should of went for the demo preferably a bump he would be in your back post and you could drive downfield with no challenge. 1:03 no comment good mechs 1:11 I would have turned around and insta challenged preferable a jump 50 or a 50 to the side 1:17 there is your decision making skill you should have flipped into the ball and gone as fast as you could to net you made your job harder than it needed to be considering he was no boost only getting pads. 1:22 your dribbling is ok at times good cut onto the ball it is definitely your weak point though 1:50 good fake challenge you should have drove the ball into net though before hand again he was back with no boost 2:03 this is a very bad habit once you see he is ahead go back get pads or go for full boost pad and reset no reason you should be ahead of the ball with zero boost and then you decided to flip challenge into it the most you should to is drive challenge if you flip challenge then you have NO chance to get back there you should only look to disrupt him not get possession because what will you do with possession with zero boost. you got very lucky he is dumb he went for ball there 2:14 go slow drive slow slow the ball down, Be greedy he needs possession you can take all of that time to wait for a challenge once you see that flick low 50 or powerslide cut to the left or right. Good pace knowing how to get the beat to the ball over someone fast decision making when its needed most for a goal which explains why you go for some goals that wont go in which is not a bad thing its not great either. STUFF YOU LACK ON: Poor decision making on defense. Bad dribbling and ball control. You need to know what has priority in a play MAINLY when you need to save a ball not ball chase it. Knowing that you can just drive the ball straight in when he is behind you. You have done that a lot in the gameplay. You make some goals WAY harder than they need to be. Best component you have is your pace you get a lot of these goals for example beating them to the punch fast decision making on offense but sadly no so much when defending your net. AGAIN learn how to do a proper delay kick off if your giving up kick off goals. you don't need a speed flip at all even in pro play you just need good decision making skill on the kick off. I recommend you watch ua-cam.com/video/O5E4MMWr4xw/v-deo.html I was stuck plat 3 in 1v1 for 2 years with 3k hours at the time after watching this gameplay the next 6 months of very good practice and trying to implement these fundamentals into my 1v1 I went from plat 3 to champ 2 in 1v1 within a very short period of time to know with me being more experienced with 6k hours Biggest tip honestly learn how to do your own vod reviews don't ask yourself what your doing wrong ask yourself where else could you be, what you could have done different. seeing how you got this far on mainly game sense alone and some decent mechanics your can defo get champ in 1v1

Tip:try flipping on kickoffs it will make you faster than only boosting. Try learning speed flips when you get to diamond or higher.
