Since the late 80s early 90s I started as a plane spotter at Soesterberg airbase because I lived near Soesterberg airbase in the centerline of runway 09 and saw the planes flying over there
Unfortunately after the departure of the Americans and later the closure of Soesterberg airbase plane spotting also became somewhat less.
After a number of years of actually not doing anything with plane spotting I became curious again and I started making videos. My photo camera equipment was exchanged for a somewhat better camcorder and from now on I own a Panasonic HC-X1500. Since everything is new to me with making videos, this is also a learning process of trial and error for me and that also makes it interesting when it comes to making videos of airplanes. I have the goal to make slightly different videos than the rest would do, but it will not always be easy to make a video from a different perspective, but as I said, I will try.
