Moog Dual Glide on Access Virus
Переглядів 836 місяців тому
Here is one way that you can use the Access Virus multiple parts to get that dual glide / portamento that is available on the Moog Sub 37. A great way to get a gliding effect in to a played note. The Moog Sub 37 workshop by Yannek Maunz, that inspired me to try this on the Virus, is available here: ua-cam.com/video/donocLMVau0/v-deo.htmlsi=YXM-3esxKmZ06biJ
Audio Preview Files in Ableton

In this video I explain a couple of ways on how you can create your own audio preview samples/files for your custom Drum Racks and other instruments in Ableton Live, so that you can get an example on what the drums or instrument sounds like before draging them in to your project. Bogner Atma, Clean Ch with OD pedals
Переглядів 1 тис.7 років тому
Here is a clip of the Bogner Atma on the clean channel in 1w mode with some OD-pedals. The volume is set to "bedroom level" :) Chain goes like this: MP Royal Blue OD - TS9 mini - Gristle King, in the eff. loop there is a Strymon Flint for some Reverb
Great beat to scratch over, where can we find 01 & 02?!
Well I guess you just made a request ;) I see what I can do. Thanks for the feedback!
Thank you so much for taking the time to put this together. This will save a lot of CPU lol.
@@theblowupdollsmusic Glad to be of service :)
OMG, really? Thank you so much 🙏 I'm not a noob, but I wasn't able to feed the multichannel data from Torso T1 to one instance directly. So i guess I will have to go through configuring them one by one. To be honest Live is so idiotic sometimes :/
Glad I could help :) Im not sure if this is any less "complicated" in other DAWs, I only work in Ableton. Its pretty neat though to get so many channels in the Virus/Ostirus, still not sure there are any other synth on the market that can do this.
Lush like that old skool synth band from France in the early 90s great love it well done

Really good demonstration. Thank you for posting.
Hi! Great video! I find the simplest way to handle audio previews is to just drag the midi clip ( with the instruments and everything loaded on the track ) directly into your USER LIBRARY (Important otherwise ableton will copy and duplicate files to any location outside of the user library). It will just create a .alc which can be previewed, and directly loaded to recover the original instrument. It's a bit slower because when you preview a .alc, it has to load the instrument in a temporary track to preview it. Thats just how I do it at least. (The only catch is that it needs to be in the user library. I just use Ableton's 'Clips' Folder, make subfolders for different stuff) Maybe you already know about it but wanted a different method. Otherwise, great video!
@@MrReeTart Thanks mate! Yea I do know about dragning the whole midi-clip, and thats a great way to. I do like the ogg-files though since they play instantly, saving one press on the right arrow ;)
Nice :)
Hehe, thanks mate, this was an assignment for a music course I did. Here is my soundcloud profile and stuff I really like to do :) soundcloud.com/roccster
