You say this and I get it but traditionally you get married in your early years late teens early 20s and with our modern society it's hard to get to that point early on and a good woman helps a man get there hence why she gets half his stuff because she helped him earn it. However modern women are being told a man should already have everything and do nothing for it but yet still expect half his stuff. That's why marriage is just a bad deal for a man nowadays. Saying that I myself am married and am very happy and love my wife, she has helped me grow as a man to become successful and get to a point she doesn't have to work so can look after our children rather than the state (nurserys schools)
