Thanks for sharing this Hi There was only just one bird on the part of beach that we searched, it is a long beach but the day before another two birders had walked the whole beach and found only one as well. Glad you are interested in Magellanic Plovers, there is a recovery project in Argentina, you can help by donation too (see attachment). And glad you like the video I made. 😊 Sincerely, Winnie drive.google.com/file/d/12gGF3mw2IS1gIIGWbxFIisYUdTPwlX-O/view?usp=drivesdk
Beautiful.🥰 Some people, for some reason, mistake a Chaco owl with this specie.
Oh I hope not, I did try to look for the 'rufous-legs' but they were hidden by the feathers, anyway, the local guide took us to see the owl so it must be correct, and I guess the call is special. Thanks for your comment, have a good day!
The owl here has some rufous color on the eye disk, Chaco Owl would not have that color🙂
@@winniesdiscoveries I know, I'm just saying that other people mistake this with Chaco owls
Sounds like a baritone kookaburra lol
Sure, the owl also stoops forward when calling. Thanks

Agree, most birds are near endemics when it is southern Patagonia, quote "it is the quality not quantity" Thanks for your iconic 'word'.
Hi aunt Winnie, this owl is cute. Is this in Toronto?
Oh no, it is an owl in Argentina - the Patagonia. Glad you like it.

Yes I like your description,, 👍😲
Rare animal-people, size not big, the bush has enough good food for them. Born free and live free, our earth needs your presence and blessing!

Outstanding video 👍🇵🇷
Thank you so much 😀 Hope it helps you find the birds too!
Note to the narrator. I appreciate this educational moment about Puerto Rico's endemic birds, but just so u know is not La Pargooaehra. (Or La Pargüera) That's a mis- pronunciation of the word. When the letter u is followed by an e, the sound changes to a sound similar to "ghaeh" & the letter U seems silent. When the U is between a G and an E and has two dots over it, that's when the U is pronounced- like in Mayagüez.
Hi Lily, thanks for pointing that out ! 😉
