Hey guys! My name is Madison! I'm an Autistic young woman who loves anything to do with boats, cars and trucks! I video the adventures of my Baja 272 and upload car show videos too.

Most boats always look bigger on the trailer than they do in the water. I think these 272s are the only boat that looks bigger in the water than on the trailer.
I worked at a marina all thru high school and college. Sail boats tipped like crap and were the Karen’s of the boat world. Loved sticking go fasts right next to the sail boats that stiffed us on a tip. On the flip side go fast tipped the best were the nicest and were most likely to leave a case of beer behind the dock house for us.

Oooffff… All the mud he’s churning up… poor props! Like $10K a prop or more, churning in the mud. Poor left side engine is not happy either! Sick ass boat though! 👍🏻🤘🏻

This skater is awesome, never seen exhaust setup like that. I like it.
These boats are nice to look at, a money pit to own and operate, and any out of the box jetski will smoke them out of the box for $8k

@@TStheBaja272 ahh I was close! Makes me miss the 7.4L 454 we had in our old Rinker. Also had a monster Bravo 3 outdrive. She’d touch 60 on smooth water and the Bimini down. Fountain sounds mean!

@@TStheBaja272 That boat is super clean, we used to have a 2006 Rinker 232 Captiva Cuddy Liberty Edition with a Volvo Penta 5.7 GI engine and DuoProp Outdrive!

Are the old liberators half decent as far as used boats go? Found an 89 201 and don’t want to sink myself with maintenance if possible
They are great boats. You just have to check the whole boat over really well. Especially the floor for any rot. Try to find out when the gimble bearing and outdrive bellows were repaired last. Check the transom for any signs of water damage with a moisture meter. They can have a professional look at it for $10 or $15 a foot to be safe. Tip: If it has OMC parts (especially an outdrive or engine), get rid of those and replace it with Mercruiser parts. OMC is not reliable.

To vent the engine compartment of gas fumes so you don’t blow yourself up

Seawater pump is above the water level when the engine starts. Risky move Sweet ride tho. I have a 1990 300ES
Bravo pumps are positive displacement pumps so they self-prime. On most installations the pump sits at the bottom of the engine and doesn't naturally drain through the outdrive (newer pumps have drains for winterizing) so it starts in a bath of water, then quickly pulls water up and in through the outdrive inlet. Its very obvious that the captain knows exactly how far in to the water the trailer has to go to immerse the drive inlets. Wouldnt recommend this procedure for the novice though.

Boat sounds good, curious I have a H2x and blew up my Bravo 1 outdrive recently, what drive are you using and any upgrades?
It's a Bravo 1 X. The gears and shafts have been beefed up a bit.

@@ashtonwilliams7309 Yes to both. Me and dad rebuilt the engine when I was a kid. It's still the original block, so it's gonna need a new engine soon
My boss had one with a 350 in it and it was not fast at all
