Hey thanks for commenting and asking! If you have experience with the Pint X then I think you’ll probably have a very similar experience with the Pint S. I know they did some major improvements to the firmware so you’ll have some digital shaping, and they added new flared footpads, but if you’re looking for true stability, you’ll probably want a bigger board. The GT is great and so is the GT-S. I have never owned a Pint bc I am a bigger dude and have always felt like I needed a larger platform to stand on. The other factor that can make a difference is going to be the pressure of your tire. The lower your PSI is the more stable your ride will feel, but you’ll sacrifice your range. And vice versa, the higher your tire pressure the better range you’ll have, but you’ll sacrifice the stability. If I were to buy another board coming from a Pint X, and I had the available funds, I’d go for a GTS. It’s a far better performing board for both street and trails. Good luck on your board journey! I’m always stoked when FM uses my clips. Size doesn’t matter my guy. I’m keeping up and having fun, and that’s all that really matters. The whole point of doing anything is to enjoy it. If you aren’t enjoying it, then quit doing it. If you are enjoying it, then keep doing it and share the stoke. All of my clips are filmed and edited by myself. Appreciate it man! I grew up snowboarding in CO actually. I think that’s what got me hooked on the onewheel. But it’s been many many years since I’ve been back to the mountains to ride. Definitely gotta make it up this year!

I definitely think it’s easier than skating. The sensation of riding Onewheel is more like a snowboard or surfing in my opinion.

I do love snowboarding! I grew up in Colorado snowboarding. But left for the east coast after high school. Been over a decade since I’ve boarded seriously. The onewheel has helped ease that itch!

If you buy brand new then yeah it’s a bit expensive to get into the hobby. But you can buy used and get one for under $1000. That’s what I did to get started.

I’m not sure I’d agree with you on this. Sure, my weight is a factor to my performance, and if I was lighter my bonks would be higher, but in my own opinion, I’m not letting my weight hold me back. I was afraid to get into this sport because of my weight. But if anything Onewheel has shown me how powerful and strong these boards are and how incredible the community is. But I am also working on the weight atm. Been running a lot these days and I’ve already noticed my maneuverability improving from being lighter. I’ll agree that if I weighed less I could be even better of a rider than I already am. But I disagree that it’s holding me back. I’m here to play and have fun. 🤙🏾

Honestly I would rather not wear any gear. But I’ve also experienced crashing without it and getting mad road rash. That was definitely not fun. But I consistently put the impact onto my knees and roll out. It’s instinctual to me for some reason. So if I’m doing serious commuting I’ll wear my gear.
