how the new Planet of the apes TRICKED you into watching
Переглядів 1,1 тис.3 місяці тому
We talk about how we were tricked into watching Planet Of The Apes 4. You're going in thinking you're gonna watch your man Caesar light up the screen once more. Little do you know that Caesar is pushing up daisies after the last film, and we all forgot because that film came out 7 BLOODY YEARS AGO. Hollywood you've tricked us again. how jesse plemons STOLE civil war
Переглядів 14 тис.5 місяців тому
We talk how the great Jesse Plemons came in late to the Civil War movie... AND STOLE THAT SH*T playa. Watch the full episode here: beacons.ai/filmstuff
Any reason why he isn’t mentioned in the credits? Not just the film itself, but on IMDb etc.?
Definitely not a nepo husband. He was in a movie called Children on Their Birthdays when he was just a kid, and then on Friday Night Lights and Breaking Bad when he was still very young. As the other commenter mentioned, 25 years before he met Kirsten Dunst. He is outstanding and I agree, stole this movie despite really excellent performances from everyone in the main cast.
He was fukn hilarious in Game Night 😂
this video is so spot on. jesse's scene IS the entire movie. (then again the white house scene was pretty awesome too)
Miles teller does also rule. Good on you for saying that
The movie was starting to feel like a fun road trip, and then this guy changed the whole tune.
Who is that complete nobody loser on the bottom half. Nepo husband? What a twat
Reminds me of Lieutenant Kilgore from Apocalypse Now
He is brilliant in everything he does. He steals the show every time.
My man if you paid attention to any of the trailers it was very obvious that this is 300 years after Ceasar died
I mean the movie never tricked anyone unless you somehow avoided all of the promotional videos and trailers
Never once thought it was Ceasar
Cesar died in the previous movie. It obviously wasn’t him.
Lol nepo husband? What you dumbos are really on? Jesse was already established actor before his marriage,he is self made actor
Eh, save the glasses, I don’t think he looks anything like Elton John. I think he looks a lot like Phillip Seymour Hoffmann though.
they literally say in some of the trailers that time passed i think. also all chimpanzees look similar, to say caesar looks like noa is probably one of the most realistic things they can do.
Same with Rakka, although he has more head hair, closer eyes, and no Flanges
noa got that mark from a electric torch , wasn’t a birthmark , only thing similar to caesar is the spot
Mfw the great ape family is present in the planet of the apes
I totally thought it was Caesar from the previews. This would have pissed me off
They actively tell you it’s not lmao
I think that it's a little bit of stretch to say it's to trick people into watching. Apes tend to look the similar in their more recognizable characterisitcs. I thought each ape was distinct enough to differentiate them from the earlier characters. Noah's eyes and nose are much bigger and his brow is much higher than Caesar's. Raka looks nothing like Maurice, they're just the same kind of ape. I enjoyed this video a lot, though. You guys had a fun take on the movie. I subscribed. Keep it up!
This movie would have been much better if more journalists were…. Well you get the idea.
Okay I was with you but you can’t seriously think Proximus Ceasar looks like an ape (Koba) with a hairline further back and scars all over their face just because they’re both Bonobos?😂
😂 Proximus Caesar is hiding that hairline behind his crown
@@FilmStuffClips At least he knows how to wear it

This was a fun review.👍🏻 Team human!
Who the heck is miles teller
He was in Project X, War Dogs, Whiplash, etc.
Fun back and forth. But you two definitely have the slightest clue between photography and video. Z’s of Gen 🤷♂️
“Massive nepo husband” He started acting 25 years before he met Kirsten Dunst.
2:56 The corporate press is the enemy of the people. 💯💯💯
I agree that he completely stole the scene but that he stole the whole movie is a bit rich. Also I don't know where you got the impression that Miles Teller is No.2 of greatest actors oat xD Good performances but besides Whiplash nothing outstanding.
I'm sorry, Miles Teller is the greatest actor of all time in your opinion? Not even of your generation or a particular year. He's not bad, but there are actors who run circles around Miles Teller. That really tarred any other opinions you might have had.
I agree! It was the best scene and that’s the climax to the film in my opinion
I feel this way with every one of Alexs films is that they always have an amazing cast and the acting is incredible but he or the actors and actresses never outplay the setting and the world of his films they always take center stage. Its unforgettable film like everything else hes done 🐐
"journos are bad people"-- do you have early onset dementia, bro? Journalists are the heroes of the film. Without them we'd only have tossers like you lot, sharing your opinions. I prefer facts
He's like the modern Philip Seymour Hoffman
They look alike, but that's where it stops. Plemons doesn't draw on his own vulnerability to construct characters. He's arguably the opposite of PSH, in that he always seems to have this hard external shell-- you wonder what the hell is going on inside.
Got off the video right after your take on 0:38
Jesse Plemons is a legend. I agree he stole this movie. His scene was the one I kept thinking about after leaving the theater.
No offense, but you two are very immature. This was a civil war. Not a riot in Seattle. Journalist play an important role in documenting the events. Of course your world has been pampered. The movie was extremely realistic. Jesse's scene was showing an important part of the reality of war. Its kill or be killed. The Town showed the exact opposite. It was conplete control and protection. I hope a civil war never happens here, but the government will decide that through its leadership or lack there of.
The rose color glasses are very deep in their meaning.
Rose colored. Or blood. As in 'seeing red.'
Totally loved that aspect. It's so minor, but well placed. Good hypothesis
What is the meaning?
@shadowstorm468 the meaning is in the eyes of the beholder.
Meth Damon
I disagree with you on your viewpoint on Journalist. I do agree JP did an outstanding job at making you hate his character.
It's funny, because the point of the movie is to lionize journalists, particularly Dunst's character, the girl, and the wise old man. They're the heroes of the film, because they do their duty to remain objective and tell the facts despite the risks that come with it. The Latino guy is a war junky and one way or another gets almost everybody killed, so I think he doesn't come off as so heroic. I think the lads here missed the ball.
Ok, what kind of American are you?
Jesse plemons stole the movie??? Dont make me laugh.
The whole movie was about a road trip Nothing more than fear mongering propaganda
Plemons's performance was by far the most memorable. He deserves an award.
@@Sokrabiades No.
Cailee Spaeny stole the movie. She was amazing watching her character develope.
Fat Matt Damon is a really good. One movie I recognized him recently was black mass. He was really great as a side character.
Surely better actor than Matt demon and ,one of the best actors working today in Hollywood
So that is why this seems like an early 2000s comedy
100% agree. Plemon's scene is chilling AF. As a Democrat, i feel Right-wing extremists have radicalized Republican's against democracy. As evidenced by their willingness Jan 6 to overturn a free amd fair election Trump lost.
Martin likes hitting women that’s why he went away from Hollywood
Sleek Meek gettin the Rill Mill Fill
They was getting it in 🤮
McGregor isn’t really a fighter, he’s a method actor and was preparing for the role!
Utter garbage this movie. Just ya typical trash fueled tripe with its heavily overused CGI, Conors overacting & terrible plot. Avoid at all costs
