Osmosis, Osmolarity, and Tonicity
Переглядів 204 місяці тому
In this video, we explore the process of osmosis and break down the concepts of osmolarity and tonicity. Learn how water moves across cell membranes, the differences between hypotonic, isotonic, and hypertonic solutions, and how these principles impact cells in the body. Ideal for medical, nursing, and physician assistant students, this video simplifies essential concepts that are key to unders...
Bulk Transport: Endocytosis & Exocytosis Explained
Переглядів 254 місяці тому
This video explains the bulk transport processes, focusing on endocytosis and exocytosis. These essential mechanisms allow large molecules, like proteins and particles, to move in and out of cells using vesicles. Learn how cells engulf and release substances and why these processes are crucial in medical and biological contexts. Perfect for medical, nursing, and physician assistant students! #b...
Primary & Secondary Active Transport
Переглядів 44 місяці тому
This video dives deep into active transport, exploring primary and secondary active transport mechanisms. We’ll explain how molecules move across the cell membrane using energy (ATP) and how pumps and carriers help substances move against the concentration gradient. This video is perfect for medical, nursing, and physician assistant students looking to understand these critical transport proces...
Diffusion Rate
Переглядів 84 місяці тому
In this video, we explore the rate of diffusion across cell membranes and the factors that influence it, such as molecule size, concentration gradients, and membrane permeability. Ideal for physician assistants, nursing students, and medical students, this video provides a clear, detailed explanation of how substances like gases and ions move through membranes at different speeds and why this m...
Diffusion through Cell Membrane
Переглядів 144 місяці тому
In this video, we’ll explain the process of diffusion through cell membranes, a fundamental concept in physiology. Discover how molecules move from areas of high solute concentration to low solute concentration areas. This video is perfect for students trying to understand passive transport mechanisms and how substances like oxygen and carbon dioxide pass through the cell membrane. #physiology ...
Negative Feedback in Physiology
Переглядів 94 місяці тому
In this video, we'll break down the concept of Negative Feedback and how it plays a crucial role in maintaining homeostasis in the human body. Using simple examples like body temperature regulation and hormone balance, we’ll explore how negative feedback loops help stabilize our internal environment. Perfect for students and anyone interested in understanding this core concept of physiology, th...
Cell Membrane Selectivity
Переглядів 74 місяці тому
Explore the fascinating process of membrane selectivity in this video! Learn how cells decide what enters and exits through their membrane using specialized proteins and channels. This video is perfect for students and biology enthusiasts looking to understand cellular transport. #cellbiology #membraneselectivity #cellmembrane #cellorganelles #Phospholipidbilayer #science #medicalphysiology #co...
Cell Membrane
Переглядів 54 місяці тому
Dive into the world of the cell membrane, your cell's ultimate gatekeeper! In this video, we'll explore the structure and composition of the cell membrane, highlighting its key components like lipids, proteins, and carbohydrates. We'll discuss how these components work together to form a barrier that protects the cell, controls what enters and exits, and maintains the perfect environment for ce...
Gene Expression
Переглядів 114 місяці тому
Imagine cooking a dish without having to carry the entire cookbook to the kitchen! In this video, we'll explain gene expression using this analogy: cells produce proteins much like we cook dishes using recipes. Instead of hauling the entire book (the chromosome), a copy of the specific recipe (the gene) is made and brought to the kitchen (the ribosome). Discover how your cells efficiently produ...

@gaurav yes! Nurses are educated to be health and illness experts. EKG knowledge is essential for hospital and clinic care. Are you surprised?
Is this what nurses learn??!!
(Spanish) Camilla means stretcher in English communication is big in hospital settings and in all medical field you need to know the name of all your equipment other wise it spells disaster, and coming from someone who speaks Spanish, please that woman in the video learn English first then return back to the medical field ( not being mean just saying )kinda scary if you don't know the name of your tools, but don't give up its all a learning process, well at least she is trying good luck .
Nice Video! But im still having difficulty to palpate the intercostal spaces.
