The two yorkeshiremen in the restaurant. There were quite a few who emigrated to New Zealand from the 20's to 50's, and became prevalent in cattle breeding and becoming large farm owners. They never lost their ways, and even in New Zealand in the 2000's their sons and grandsons inherited the family farms, and never lost that base arrogance, especially to service workers. I have seen, with my own eyes, a scene just like in this sketch. The difference being they stood up and threw their plate, food and all, across the restaurant.

I adored Hale & Pace but by this point they had started to run out of ideas and were just repeating themselves. That's hardly surprising after 10 full series with 66 episodes to fill.
