Been there many many times, very relaxing and has a lot of history
I fished there many times in the 70s and 80s. I rented a boat from Sam Miller, "Miller's Boat Rental". He had a unique set up. There was a track that traveled down the beach to the bay from his boat storage area. His wife would operate a winch that was attached to a cart that Sam stood on. The cart would be lowered to the bay and the fisherman would guide the rental boat to the cart. Sam would tie the boat to the cart and be winched up to a rack where the boats were stored. I caught a lot of Weakfish on the oyster beads. Fun times.
I grew up in Washington's Crossing Pa great place to live lot of history
the music is so annoying and unnecessary
A sign to keep going 🙏
I grew up in Pennsville from the '60's to early '80's and our front door was around three miles away so I spent quite a few days there during my youth.
Love this!!!! New sub !
Love your adventure in the pines.....but the chigger bites suck in summer ouch....
Thanks for the video, but I’m confused; you said your apartment doesn’t have a dishwasher but there’s one below the counter in this video 😂😂😂
That's not my apartment. That's my buddies house.
There was just a fire today in Wharton State Forest
Good job!!! Nice. I’m looking a place for camping ⛺️. Thank you! 👍👍👍
Does the picnic pavilion have outlets and power?
I didn't really see...there were a lot of people there, I heard music. Could have been Bluetooth though...
Show the rest of the bonus..
Coming up tomorrow!!!
Small hint. Don't let the tent footprint extend past the edges of the tent. In the event of rain it will funnel water under the floor of the tent. Learned from experience
Be prepared if you watch this video until the end. SPOILER ALERT---> The New Jersey Devil gets him. The horror...the horror...😮.
I enjoyed that! Thanks my friend.
That pink house on the left at 3:14 was in our family for three generations until my grandpa passed away a few years back. My happiest memories as a kid are of time spent shucking corn on the back porch with my grandpa, finding baby turtles underneath the back pathway, BBQ'ing, and swimming in the bay or going to Ocean City. I remember driving golf carts up around town on 4th of July as fireworks went off across the water. My parents and grandparents had so many wild stories to tell of parties they had between the 60's and 80's. I miss watching the stars and falling asleep on that porch. That place was our little slice of heaven and we'll miss it!
It sounds like they must have known my Ex's family ? ... I wonder if your parents or any relatives who are still alive would remember the Nelsons , they lived somewhere right around near where you were I think but they lived right on the bay you could actually during high tide go fishing right off the patio ... it was a real cute single house built in 1904 that when I was there was painted red . His mother and father were Anna and Bill Nelson from Philly suburbs Lansdowne ( Upper Darby ) I think Mrs Nelson stopped going down there by the early 1980s . My Ex , John was a Vietnam vet , handsome guy , blonde hair . Regrettably he sold that house and bought the house next door which was a twin (belonged to an older guy Charlie and his wife , cant recall her name ) and it got destroyed during Hurricane Sandy . The guy whose house was attached to his didn't have insurance and so they wouldn't reimburse John and we were all devastated to hear this ... I feel it destroyed his spirit . I was down there in the late 70s and maybe off and on until maybe 1985 , '86 ? The only other family name I remember were the Wootens Billy Wooten ... he was on the same side of the street as our house but going further down towards where you first come in ... he was from South Philly .
Also there was a house one or two doors up from us that had the last name of Sayers ... back when I was there I think it was a yellow house .
I know that my ex and his friends used to go down there and I'm not sure how far back but I know they had some pretty wild parties and I know they were going there at least in the 1970s maybe early 1970s but it's possible they were there in the 1960s also ... I really hope somebody in your family remembers John Nelson he was a wonderful person ... he passed away around May 17th , 3 years ago .
@@gardensofthegods Whenever we were down the shore my grandpa’s friend, who everyone called “Mr. John” would ALWAYS come over and drink beer with my grandpa and they would always talk for hours. I remember him and my grandpa taking me to the county fair when I was probably 6 or 7 years old. I have been to Mr. John’s house and fished off of his deck once before. I remember meeting Charlie a few times as well. Did John drive a Camaro at one point? My grandparents lived in Upper Darby from the 60’s to the early 2000’s. If Mr. John was your ex, then you should know that we all remember him very fondly and were sad to hear that he passed away. He was one of my grandpa’s closest friends and I always remember him being around!
Do you recall Sam Miller's Boat Rental?
Why the silence?
I don't like the sound of my voice.. lol. I'm getting better..
That's odd, I got $1,400 on .50 bet, same amount of ladies/ravens, you share they paid you accordingly?
Yeah. Seemed legit..
RARELY HAPPENS ! Congrats!
I was wandering if an Edge would be a good car camper and based on this i do believe so. Actually been looking at an Edge for a 2nd vehicle as a daily and a camper. I read a comment saying you were a veteran. Thanks for your service and God Bless.
Most you drive to a few walk or kayak to
Drive to the parking lot, then hike to campsite. You would probably have to carry the kayak for a short distance.
Some constructive criticism here: I liked when you said "Let's go fishing" and showed me what you caught so I felt liked you shared the moment with me. You can do that more by sharing why you picked this park, the gear you have, how the food tastes. I just want to see more of that personality of yours.
Thanks! Slowly getting the nerve to narrate my videos....
@@LoudandLocalExploreEverythingyou can also use the description to your advantage and type down all your equipment so you don’t have to worry about doing voice over everything will be in the description us :) ❤
let me get $1000 😂💪🏻 jokes
I saw $86 ,$40 ,$12 and $56 which was the huge payout?
Editing must have missed the finale...I will have to fix that!
Is there a part 2?
Sorry! Only one part of the prepping. 😀
Awesome park, even has a/c in the restrooms plus nobody's ever there when we've visited! Truly a hidden jem!
Saw full article. You are not using a deep cycle battery. You are using a Group 24 Marine Starting battery, Group Number 24MS. An actual Grp24 Deep Cycle has Ah capacity between 75 to 90, depending on manufacturer / alloy used. Your marine starting battery has a capacity in neighborhood of 30Ah. You also used what appears to be the sealed version, difficult to replenish lost water. Otherwise, enjoyed the rest of your article. I suspect your charger was just a coincidence in that a Lead acid battery (other than agm) should not be charged faster than 10% of its capacity. ID it were an actual deep cycle, charger should be between 8 and 10 amps. Given everything is in same (apparently) unvented enclosure, may I suggest a deep cycle AGM in next build?
Thanks for the great info. You are correct. This was my first build. Hope to take some of your advice on the next one!
It’s beautiful except for the green heads.
True! Late fall and early spring are the best bets!
Hot Dam CONGRATULATIONS How much did you put in before hitting this ?....
Not very much, I was alternating my bet and probably only spent $40 or so.

Even at $.50 cents, a big win can be a game changer!!!
Amazon reached out to me on Twitter asking if they could send me a surprise package. I have no idea what’s coming in the package. They asked what I enjoy doing during my time. I said I enjoy watching movies, photography, working on taking photos of vegan and vegetarian food for my vegetarian instagram account and I also enjoy playing video games like Pokémon Go and Animal Crossing New Horizon.
That's what they did to me!!! The whole package came out to probably close to $100! Congratulations!!! Let me know what you get when it arrives, I'd love to hear!!!
Where did you buy your tent pole? Is that aluminum?
I got the aluminum tent poles from Amazon. These are the ones that I got for the Quechua: a.co/fv53VM7

Where is the food and cooking equipment.
So I have a cooler that sits in the passenger rear foot well and I use a jetboil stove for warming food and cooking. I live on mostly salads and sandwiches with occasional hot food. Army Veteran...
