Ok people. You cant just buy a midi controller and start playing. You need a DAW. You need plugins. You need sounds/samples. You need to setup your midi controller. And before you can do all of that, you need to learn basic music theory. Dont go buying an minilab or mpk mini without doing research first. Ive been making instrumentals for 8 years and im still learning ALOTTTT. Good luck. My current setup; maschine +, roland sp404mkii, minikorg 2, iPad for Koala Samplerand and other apps. 3 channel dj mixer for maschine and sp404mkii. Also have a bass guitar and electric drumkit to record bass and drums.
