2 Corinthians 5:20-21 (ESV) Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making His appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.

Oooo, love that quote by John Bunyan. Paused, rewound and listened more diligently, considering more deeply His intercessions, interventions and mighty work in me. So gracious, so merciful, mighty to be praised! 11:59
I remember when Alistair shared that story, saw it on UA-cam in a short. I wept with relief when I heard it, because I was surrounded with dear saints that were so intelligent and incredibly versed in everything, and many were generational Christian families, singing hymns from memory as if they were woven into the fabric of their DNA from the foundation of the earth, and I felt like, and knew, “I am the vilest of sinners. What am I doing here Lord amongst these pure souls?” I was so new and knew nothing except the simplicity of the gospel, “I am a sinner, and He is the Savior, and Creator of all things, and He loves me so much that He gave His very life for mine.” I was shocked and stunned that Jesus, God, would willingly love me, the most vile of sinners, I felt like saying to Him, as Peter did, “You shall never wash my feet!” I couldn’t bare for Him to suffer in such an immense way for my actions, thoughts, choices and sins...there has to be another way LORD…You who are so pure, perfect in love, holiness, mercy, kindness, all knowing, justice, goodness, tenderness, wisdom…You who have never sinned, taking my place, punished as if you committed my very acts of disobedience, my crimes?! I deserve to suffer and die! Not You! Please, there has to be another way! Show me what to do and I will do it…but alas, I cannot cleanse myself, it is not the Way He designed before the foundations of the world were laid, what putrid boasting the would have produced. And I hear Him say, “If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me.” And my heart melts in unimaginable relief, uncontainable joy, weeping at His feet with my alabaster box of praise and thanksgiving, what a gift…”Oh Lord, my LORD and my GOD! What manner of love is this?” I hear Him say, “Your sins are forgiven.” “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.” Thank you Jesus for the blood that cleanses, thank you for the measure of faith You bestow so we can believe, thank you for eternal life and reconciling my personal relationship to the Father through Your unmerited love, a supreme act of unimaginable love for us, to send Your only Son, perfect spotless holy wondrous Son, for us, Your beloved ones, the apple of Your eye, Your children. And thank you Father for growing up mature, compassionate and patient Saints, bringing greater degrees of glory to Your merciful name, that help guide and patiently continue to help me grow up in You from one degree of glory to the next, washing me with Your Word faithfully and patiently. Thank you for the sanctifying word of God that washes the mind, straightens the warped ways and like a healing salve beyond any comparison, extracts the infectious pus of lies the enemy so craftily wove into my mind and heart over the years of walking in darkness and backslidings, especially the lie of condemnation. Still a pilgrimage to journey to go. Thank You for the wise means of grace You have provided for us, Your beloved ones. Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. I know You work all things to together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.
I failed to credit at the end I was quoting from an article on Banned of Truth by Carson Herbert and lastly a quote from Mother Kirk by Douglas Wilson
Amen and hallelujah! Christ is my Lord of lords and King of kings, almighty, all-powerful, and all-amazing. Rejoice in the glory that is our Savior! I needed this sermon today, thank you for sharing it❤
Why is the audio so quiet?
It gets louder about 3 minutes in. Sorry for the audio issues.
Nicely done. It is so refreshing to hear Protestants actually "transact" in theology vs. sociology, psychology, self-awareness, and other non-sense. Not only that but to hear a reasonable and level-headed explanation and application of these golden verses. And delivered by an actual minister, well-groomed, and dressed like a gentleman as opposed to torn shirts, and skinny jeans and other gross irreverences. You give me hope for Protestantism. Signed: A highly liturgical and sacramental Lutheran pastor.
WHAT. GRACE🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🌈🦋

How come the wisdom of your glorious god is being listened to by just 4% of the Generation Z population. The other 96% of that Generation have finally got the realization that all previous generations have been hoodwinked. Fortunately Artificial Intelligence will soon show how ridiculous you sinners have been deceived.
Amen
Just now seeing this. Wonderful message Pastor Allen. It really blessed me. Thank you 🙏

Is total on obedience the same as apostasy?
Thank you for this message 🙏🕊⚓️🤍🗝🚪
Powerful indition for End-time Prophetic Revival indeed!
God bless you Sir! Continue to preach. This was a good word for me today.
Do you believe a christian can still walk out on god and become dead through willful sinning after new birth? Or do you believe that's not possible?
Love this!
Good things come to those who wait.
Subtitles, please!
Muchas gracias al hermano Philip por el mensaje, justo en el tiempo del Señor, y recordarnos que en Cristo hay descanso para el alma. Dio los bendiga grandemente 🙏
Some people think that when you become a Christian, it simply means that you choose to stop doing the stupid things that you used to do, and start behaving respectably. You start going to church, and reading your bible, as if new habits and a sober living is what it means to be a Christian. But becoming a Christian is nothing like that. Becoming a believer is not about repairing your old life, but in fact, your old life has died. That you have been changed and are no longer who you used to be, you can feel inside you that everything has changed and been made new. It’s like being born again with a brand new life. A new and whole relationship with God your Father inside you loving you. A new heart, and new desires have been given to you with power and motivation. And the scales have been removed from your eyes, and you can now see what you couldn’t see before.
noice :P
I praise God for our son and pray that The Lord will continue using him for His glory and for many many people to come to Christ through God’s word
