Переглядів 12Місяць тому
The Huers Hut in Newquay is an iconic building in the town, it now has a lighting setup which will enable it to be coloured for a number of celebratory occasions. Thursday 21st November 2024 Newquay Lions proudly facilitated the lighting up of the Huers Hut, to raise awareness of Pancreatic Cancer in memory of Terry Dixon who was a long standing member of the local Lions club
Budget lighting for YouTubers
Переглядів 33Місяць тому
I've had a budget of $100 / £100 to spend on a 3 light kit to make UA-cam videos. This is a quick video of how have achieved this. I would love it if you could subscribe to the channel to see what budget kit videos I have lined up.
Trevemper
Переглядів 1 тис.Місяць тому
All the new developments at the edge of Newquay on the Trevemper side. Newquay is certainly growing rapidly. I'm not sure whether the local infrastructure can keep pace with this growth, Dr's Dentists, Pharmacies, Schools, all struggling at the moment. And Cornwall only has one main hospital. Where will the sensible decisions on these issues take place?

Andrew new Drone trial

Andrew has recently purchased a new to him DJI Platinum Pro drone and asked me for a few tips to get him comfortable and confident. Hopefully the smile on his face at the end of the day and the three batteries drained said it all!!
Misty Newquay, Cornwall scenes
Переглядів 383 місяці тому
On a misty Monday morning, on the way to work, I just happened to notice the mist as I was driving through Nansledan. I had my drone in the car and without hesitation pulled over to film this little clip. I hope you enjoy it.
PS Waverley arrives in Fowey

Paddle Steamer Waverley made a journey down to the south west at the end of August 2024 and stopped at a few ports on the way with her passengers. I was lucky enough to be able to capture her arriving in Fowey.

What a lovely thing to do
Looks lovely Gregor Glad you done this before today and weekend weather looking horrendous your way and up with us as well
Been at the top a few times. If you go be careful of the ladders bit rusty. 👍👍
Great video Gregor. Lovely quiet there everybody on Henver road 🤣
yeah, Henver was a bit busy on the way home!
@ it is for me as well.
Need to get down there. I can smell the crisp sea air from here in bristol. Must get there to blow the cobwebs away.
find any oysters?
@JaredMysko unfortunately I'm allergic to seafood so that wouldn't interest me.
the glitches in the green screen are a bit of an issue to begin with on the background but it is my first test with green screen, please give me a bit of love :)
Well drone Andrew. 😂Wonderful film. Awesome. More please Gregor. 👍👍👍
Looks lovely down there 😊
It's not gonna be so good in the morning though unfortunately
Very nice, like
Thank you! Cheers!
would have been nice video if the rotten background musac wasnt in it why do we have to have it ?
@DeryckMunk each to their own I suppose I can't please everyone
would like to see what you produce and openly criticise your work! if you're brave enough!
Mate, when you decide to go out, send me a message 1st as I would love to come along with you...
Looks lovely mate down there
Very professional video Gregor, nice one! 🙂
@@retired_66 thank you
Nice! Was gutted to miss this in Pembrokeshire a little while back so it’s great to see it coming around by Readymoney Cove and into Fowey. 👍🏼
Beautiful as ever. 🫶
Grockles i know from living in pompey Also IOW term used widely Hope your week good at work
I had Friday off, needed the day to tidyup before Suzie comes home tomorrow lol.
Love it as an Emmet myself I first called one( F**king Emmet ) some 20 years as i going down the steps to whipisderry from a young cornish surfer itching to get to the surf. Did make me chuckle. But remember one year I did get mistaken for a local which I very pleased about. Can't see how I have a strongish Bristolian accent. I class myself as a honorary cornish man lol as I been coming down to porth since 1997 and also now once a week for work we'll the whole of the duchy. Love the videos keep them coming
@garyharrad4876 cheers. I do live in Porth and the footage of the beach is from my house
Hope wasn't to bad your way Yesterday 34c today a bit better headed down to a old haunt by the sea Barton in the new forest Loved it 21c no Qs and really quiet Beach almost to self's Few people about not the throngs of holidaymakers that head to bmouth instead
Love it!!!
Holy moly
Wow haven’t been there for a while
Can you film more
I'm doing a few bit's and pieces around the festival without actually going. Tonight has been pretty foggy from where I live, that's been an interesting time lapse that I'm in the process of creating.
@@GregorStevenson oh great thank u. I now live in the midlands but still miss it.
Oh got to love a dozy emit that thinks roads are for walking in. The amount of abuse I’ve had thrown at me for driving through town, they think they have priority 😂
That’s a great video. I used to live in Newquay but had to move as couldn’t afford to stay and I miss it. See some of the old shops are still there and tourists still stupid and walking in the road. If u see Barry Hewitt tell him I want me four grand back.
You're welcome to have a look at my other videos around the event but unfortunately I have no idea who Barry is lol
@@GregorStevenson Lol don’t wanna know him he’d rob his grandmother lol
Grew up in Newquay in the 60s and 70s. It's a dump now.
I live here now and love it. Each to their own
All them buses and people probably caused the sink hole to open up 😆
@@garyharrad4876 being fair, it's probably a lot longer issue than the extra buses.
get rid of the carvery, super burgers is the sign they need , more buses there than central london
@pastypiratepaul the buses are taking the festival goers to and from the site. Funny thing is, they are all under 25 and are more than fit enough to walk the distance. It would make a huge difference to all the little businesses along the way if they were forced to do the little hike but the bleddy organisers want them all on busses so they can get even more cash out of them
😂😂😂😂 what a fit ur fill up with water ❤❤😂😂😂
You made that look far too easy😂
Far to early Gregor to view this 😂 Brilliant first thing on a Thursday morning
how deep is the pool?
we used to call it wobbly castle , had some awesome partys there ,,,...
Eh up its grumpy Gregor...lol
😂 laughing so much Gregor
A fantastic visit to Okehampton, loving the aerials, glad you managed to get the drone up for those commanding views. Lovely interior!
Liking the soundtrack 😊
Looks fantastic Gregor a good day out
Cheers mate

You're welcome Dean. Hope you are both well and planning your next trip
@@GregorStevenson we are planning at the moment! We will see you both next year ! Hopefully your unit is available!
Just give Suzie a call when you're plans are in place. I must admit we get booked up pretty quickly these days.
It’s a stunning castle. I’ll have to make a visit soon. 👍
Awesome Gregor. 👍👍👍🫶
YoI’m can’t beat these old sailing ships for amazing footage. 👍
I was pretty lucky with the weather as well :)
That looks amazing. Would love to fly there
It's between Redruth and Four Lanes. Next to Carn Brae.
That looks like a really cool place
It's an easy place to find once you get there. More than happy to give you directions
