Hi! Late reply here, but with my experience in bookbinding and being a fellow planner hobbyist, the issue with a lot of new planner companies is that they haven't realized that the cover material on the spine prohibits the books from laying completely flat, which differs from most Japanese planner/notebook company's books. The cover material is a thick material, when compared to Hobonichi's glued paper binding for example, and the extra "padding" in the spine, caused the by the leatherette cover material layer, is what causes the book not to lay flat. CreateWithPen notebooks also suffer from this issue. In all my books like this, I gently cut off the spine material layer just from the spine area. It is risky to do this, because you don't want your exacto knife to go in any deeper than that top layer, but if you do it carefully you can remove that top layer material and then the book will lay perfectly flat like you/we all want. It doesn't look great, but if you don't mind, or find a way to cover it without sacrificing the flexibility of the spine, your problem will be solved! When I’m shopping for journaling stuff it Feels like I’m gambling at the casino. When I find something I really like, it feels like I Won!! Money in and wins out. I’m really loving your channel, I think you’re hysterical! My question is how do you utilize so many different planners? I have trouble just keeping one planner together and keeping my head organized. I don’t understand how people use multiple planters. And I tried it. When happy planner came out. I bought every single planner they owned.but I’m stuck in the cycle of not being able to get my thoughts on paper and articulated. I can’t seem to do it using an online planner. I don’t know what the problem is, but I gotta find someway to get this started and stick with it. Do you have any suggestions about how to start which one planner?

Five year diary is classic.

I have to have a monthly and a weeks part of my planner. I can’t fill the dailies but when they are included that doesn’t bother me. I repurpose those.

Thinking we might be long lost sisters... you have my same humor, planner addiction, and same stupid health TRASH.. I got the papertess pocket to health journal with you... OZEMPIC ugh...satan's juice... but if your carbs or sugar are off.. the worst... I don't have a Dutch but have a GRACE (lol.. and she is NOT but I love her weirdness).. and I have at least 2 or 3 planners from 4 companies still on the way... I hope you will check out the Twines and Paper hybrid planner as I would love to hear what you think.. anyway.. you got this... and health tracking.. ? have you tried Oura Ring? and please show a video on how you ink those little pens.. ok... enough rambling.
