Lol not a rip off. It's a standalone game from an old Minecraft mod called terrafirma craft.

No question to the obvious similarities. The creators were into making mods for Minecraft and spent lots of time doing so. But they are VERY different games I assure you. Try it out yourself or keep watching and it should become apparent. The first difference for me was that my world did not get corrupted every time I would get like 300 hours into a world. But look at other things like the handbook. What you need to know is mostly to be published there. When I saw the handbook that was it. I was sold and never looked back. Adding mods could not be more straight forward. So many things not the same but on the surface your statement is not wrong. Just look deeper. Thanks for the comment and for watching.

You have to go south my friend, where it is hot before you can find them. Only where it is hot! Thanks for the comment too by the way. Good luck in finding them. I usually only have like 5 seeds when I start planting them. Then it is constant plant, harvest, plant, harvest ..... That is how you propagate the seeds. Peanuts are not as stingy with giving extra seeds as are some of the other plants.

@@lonewolfrem1009 most worlds i start i do select warm temperature. 19 - 23 degree celsius. isn't that enough to be spawned there? well i gues i'm bound for a journey then... Thanks for the quick answer by the way!

@@oOMaddog63Oo Should be. If you see them in my videos then that will help you identify what they look like. They don't stand out and you really have to be looking. But also pay attention to the type of area where you see me find them. They are not found just anywhere. So those are my best clues for you.

Yeah it was a lot of work but for me not hearing the drifters makes it worth it. I'm trying to figure out the balance for the "No permanent base" release frequency. Not sure how often to post those since they are so long. But I have them recorded already with lots of adventures to be seen! Thanks for the comment and you watching. I appreciate it. @@lonewolfrem1009 I'm 60 yo from Germany. Throug my kids i came to minecraft and recently i found VS and was hooked. i still have a job and don't have enough time to watch all your episodes. You're just to fast... I did comment earlier when you yelled "Scheiße!" in one episode. it had me laugh so hard. i asked how you came to speak german so good. have you been stationed here or have any relatives here?

I remember actually buying Minecraft while it was in Alpha state for my boys too. lol I didn't understand what was fun about it back then but it was also far less than it became. Then I started to play it and had a great time with it. But for me it was also frustrating because I would get about 300 hours into a map then it would get corrupted. Then it wasn't so fun anymore! But I played it off and on. But when my oldest son showed me VS I was hooked. As soon as I saw the in-game handbook that was the key. I thought: Wow! I don't have to go and discover all of these recipes that I already know before I can actually use them! Haven't looked back since. Great memories!

Wow. I have not heard of that mod. I do wish I could carry more even at my current play of the series. This has been a great experience for me and at times a real hardship - but I say no more - no spoilers from me. Thanks for the comment and for watching!

Well . . . the thing is that I actually want to play so there are lots of episodes and now I am releasing 4 per day. So far that seems to be working. I have released more than that before but that was when I was wrapping up a series. BTW I have moved the world to 1.19 and created a new playlist with all the episodes made with 1.19. It is simply a continuation of this Lets Play so look for that playlist too! I love this game!!! Thanks for watching and for the comment as well. 🙂

No. Not sure the situation but I might have just been in a "panic" and not even considered it. I need to do better. I will need to look at the damage the axe does vs the spear. I thought the spear did more damage when thrown vs the axe but I will check it out. Thanks for the idea.

@@edagoyt2818 I see. I think you are asking about the world map and how it has changed in 1.19.5. If that is the case then I can help. To get back to the regular map you would issue the following command: /worldconfigcreate bool colorAccurateWorldmap true You would put that into your chat window if you are playing single player but if you are doing so on a server then you would issue that at the server console window. After you do that then you need to restart Vintage Story. If single player then just quit and restart. For server you /stop the server then restart it (both client and server). Then the map is exactly as it was. All built in to Vintage Story. NO MOD. :) I hope that helps. I personally can't stand the new map so that is one of the first things that I do with 1.19.

It's not it's Vintage Story. It's Minecraft like but a whole lot better.

That is an understandable question since the two appear to be so similar as @MrHLVW pointed out. The makers of this game had been part of a huge mod for MC and became frustrated. So they created their own game from the ground up including the engine that this runs on. But these are very much NOT the same game. Thanks. I went back and watched to see how this happened and now I understand. I looked at both bulls and didn't realize that the one was already dead and that I had killed it when I didn't have room to harvest it. Then when I came back IRL days later I had forgotten what I had done. The price of leaving a job undone 😂That really sucks. Thanks for the heads up! At least the cows are pregnant and if the odds hold true at least 2 of the calves will be bulls! I have to stop doing that. lol

Hi Hypi. So great to hear from YOU! I completely agree with your suggestion about the video and I have actually finally figured out how to get it turned up. Today being: Mar 20 2024. I am quite ahead in my recordings. The tools that I was working with before weren't providing me the option and I am so new to video editing that I just have lots to figure out. Today I finally did and it was in the recording software not the editor. I am grateful that you cared enough to mention this to me. Thanks so very much. So starting with episode 110 I hope everyone will have an easier time to hear the game! I didn't even know that "stats for nerds" existed. That is really a neat thing. Another tool for the tool box.
